No, it's not her fault. I am the only one in control of my life. I choose to be here. It makes me happy to make her happy. She has her own issues, too. That doesn't mean it's her fault that I am the way that I am. Nobody is perfect. Kiki makes me happy. She's not obligated to do anything at all and I appreciate what she does do.

For whatever reason, it's hard for me to watch/listen to VODs. I guess just knowing that they aren't live is all the difference. It's just a recording that can't be interacted with. She's not there on the other side. Being live is really important to me, I guess. I'm sure it's easy to understand why so I won't write a book about it.

Watching VODs from before I found Kiki just makes me feel vaguely sad so I usually avoid it. If it's a stream I missed for some reason but after I started watching her it's not so bad.

Yes, it's the same for me. I'll watch a recent VOD to catch up if I miss it, but watching older stuff feels like I'm getting stabbed in the chest.

That's perfectly reasonable. I like VODs because it's very easy to clip them while I watch. But I understand where you're coming from, too. As fun as it can be for me, it's a very different experience. I do often lurk, however, and so it's not as bad as it could be.

I'm not trying to make it sound simple. Of course I *could* choose to "make her sad" by deciding to be less active her or leave entirely if I felt it was necessary for my own mental wellbeing, but in no way would that be easy for me to do, and I wouldn't be happy about doing it, either.
If it ever came to that, I know Kiki would understand. She's not heartless.
