Recently I was cleaning out all the Hololive-related likes on my Twitter account, and as I was going through them it surprised me just how good the good times were. But more than that, I was surprised to see just how short they were, and how long ago they were over. It was really only about 10-11 months of solid good times followed by a vast stretch of emptiness and decline. I wish I had left before the original Umisea announcement, I guess just after the Myth first anniversary stream.

I went through and manually removed the like from each Hololive-related tweet. I decided to keep using the account for other purposes, but having thousands of likes poisons the timeline algorithm to flood me with massive amounts of Hololive stuff that I no longer want to see.

I feel for Gura.
She reached heights other vtubers could only dream off, but it was probably more than she bargained for.
Remember when she first hit 1 million, even before Fubuki and beat herself up about it? I remember. I feel Gura never wanted the status she has now. Perhaps she wanted to act dumb on camera like she did on her Senzawa days and get paid for it, it just so happened that when she joined hololive, the stars aligned for her success (Pandemic, exponential vtuber growth, cunny model, etc.) and now she's a walking Plagliacci

Sure, but there are artists I want to continue following, and the timeline algorithm has a very warped sense of which of their likes and reweets to prioritize now. You can use the "not interested" button to help, but it doesn't learn very quickly.
