Hour of singing, 15 minutes of MC in 3 5 minute blocks to allow the performer to catch their breath, and then a two song encore. Longer is obviously better then shorter, but I think about 1.5 hours total of runtime is the sweet spot for keeping the energy high throughout.

If you don't realize the time going by then it's great, however it's possible to run out of adrenaline from having too much fun.
I will certainly not complain when something fun lasts for longer.

If you don't like it and want something shorter then maybe you should not force yourself to watch and should accept leaving half way.
I remember seeing people leave the theater after 5-15 minutes despite having waited half an hour before the performance started.

I never understood this. Did they fail to realize they would not like the performance until it started?
Or did they go in blindly to add randomness to their life?

The issue that actors may have is that making a longer performance with singing, acting and moving non stop requires a lot of endurance.
Having a break time to recover would be nice, but may break the immersion as this performance feels like an action and singing packed movie.
It may be easier to make shorter performances more often than bigger ones less often as they require more preparation.

It's not a requirement for us to have color commentators, but it's pretty common for each general to have one person join the main commentators in the booth.

You can commentate using any name you like, but you'll have to be doing it from inside a discord voice call, so keep that in mind
Sign up is per game, not per league. For example, you can commentate for our matches on Mar 4, 11, or 18th, or a combination. Currently we have nobody signed up for our first three matches.
You will never have to do a play-by-play commentary, that would be left to streamer
Be a thread regular, or able to larp as one, to be able to provide relevant commentary
Do not use this as an opportunity to shill chuubas, on the roster or otherwise. This event is for the enjoyment of the board and its generals.

Sure thing, I actually followed them after their second gen debuted. They have some very robust infrastructure regarding merchandise and permissions, and most importantly, they're properly staffed. They might be small but they really know how to squeeze their fans dry through innovative practices such as gacha merchandise and voice pack. Luckily, Japanese are pretty cool with their tactics because of their oshi.

From what Beryl has talked about, they seem like a really solid pick for a vtuber agency, even if the /#/s don't match their techniques. The culture and behind scenes also seems healthy. She even managed to bargain with them to give her a 3D model at 6k subs (6000 youtube subs). It sounds like the vtuber you watched chose wisely.

ytarchive for streams with "ytarchive --add-metadata --thumbnail --wait --write-description --write-thumbnail --mkv --threads 3 *link*". ytarchive automatically downloads streams from the beginning. For archived streams or videos I use yt-dlp. With the Yuka stream the connection was never closed when the stream had issues.
