Truth be told, game choice hardly matters. It's all about consistency, keeping up the feeling of connection with your fans, putting yourself on the radar (being clip-friendly, whether creating the moments yourself or capitalizing on connections with other holos). Moona's personality makes all of that unlikely.

I think the problem with Moona is she became complacent with her situation. Her streaming became monotonous and felt like there's a lack of "Oomph" if you know what I mean.
Also her merchandising game suck, her first plushie isn't that interesting. I can order a similar one from Isbon (Istana Boneka) if I want to. Her second plushie is better but still not interesting enough and too expensive. Even Risu's Risusaurus and her tail pillow is unique enough people actually want them.
She has amazing voice, but sadly she need to grab the attention of kaigai nikki and JP nikki with interesting song again. They love her original but it felt like it need to be backed up with more cover. Sadly her money is limited. Compare that to Kanata and Okayu flooding the Hololive cover song scene with their songs.
She rely too much on her fanatic followers. It's not a bad thing but she need to expand more.
