So is this actually Live 2D 3.0 or not? I haven't noticed any cheek puffing which would be the most obvious way to distinguish them. I still think it's weird she basically never used any of the features again after the initial showcase.

I'm still unsure, has her mouth tracking with the default model always this bad or is this maybe the 3.0? It's been used so infrequently over the years that I can't remember. I do remember her saying it's "harder to use" than her other models in some way before, though, maybe that's why she hardly ever uses it and it's just an euphemism for bad tracking.

This game is pretty infamous for being really popular tuber bait in beta then falling off super hard as time went on. They basically completely removed the neighbor by the later acts and made it a super weird and convoluted puzzle game, hence why she's been stuck for what I can only assume to be hours cause at this point I can't tell when she's made progress and when she hasn't.

2.0 shirakami is super cute. I'll be really sad when her original outfit gets updated.

I'm pretty sure this is her updated model, I saw her lean back a while ago and I think only the 3.0 can do it that hard, probably why the mouth movement sucks. But yeah I agree with you, one of my favorite outfits in hololive and she barely uses it anymore due to the 3.0 sucking hard, and she was just starting to use it again before the reveal too... at least it seems like she's putting it in her rotation again.

After wondering for hours whether or not it was 3.0 or not, I think you are right, I am now also pretty sure it is, I also saw her lean back once or twice a couple of hours ago and I think I might have seen some cheek puffing when she was looking towards the side at some point. I'm also pretty sure the mouth tracking was never this bad. I really wonder what happened there, how did it end up being such a flop and then the attachment system that came out at the same time was such a runaway success and made it all redundant anyway. I like all of FBK's outfits a lot, so I'm also kind of sad the default doesn't get used as much anymore, especially because she's wearing it in like 80% of her art and merchandise.

Does anyone here watch the other first generation members on a regular basis? Do any of them use the new features at all? I wonder if they are reworking the 3.0 concept behind the scenes or intend to scrap it entirely and sweep it under the rug.

I don't think that's ever going to happen, there probably won't be another rework of it for years. I'm not even sure if that that would even be considered an upgrade anyway, her 2.0, TEC and the formal outfit all came out in a span of like 3 months so I'm assuming they were developed in parallel by different people. I remember people being slightly disappointed with TEC and the formal outfit when they came out because they used an inferior base and everyone liked the 2.0 better because it was way more expressive, but I'm guessing FBK herself must have preferred them because her recent upgrades clearly use that branch of models instead of the default one.
When the hell is she finally getting a new outfit anyway, it's been two and a half years. I don't know if it's an act or not, but she has been acting increasingly annoyed about not getting one whenever someone else gets one and a Sukonbu asks her if she's getting a new one too. She even sort of jokingly called out Mito about it at some point and he said he'll do his best but that was like half a year ago at this point, too.

1. Almost every day, mostly prime time or a bit later. Weekends tend to be a bit earlier.
2. Almost never on stream, she very rarely does a short end-of-stream Zatsudan session but even then she rarely ever reads out full messages. She does claim to read the messages at some point on her own time, though.

Rarely ever on stream. I think she has dual monitors so what I usually do is that I send them a minute or two after she does her greeting while she's still looking at her chat screen so that it gets acknowledged. If you send it while she's in the middle of a battle or during dialogue she won't see it.

I feel like she just glances over at chat on occasion and picks up stuff she finds interesting rather than observe it at all times. But I think it really depends on the game most of all. If it's a game like yesterday or Phasmo where she consults the Sukonbu on occasion, you're definitely right. In action-heavy stuff like Apex and Splatoon she only ever looks at them between matches if at all.

Speaking of which, though, the exact same error with it not merging correctly in the end happened again for the We Were Here Together stream yesterday as well. The Hello Neighbor one was fine though. Just updated the ffmpeg build yt-dlp uses because I haven't done so in quite a while, hopefully this fixes it.

It won't, sometimes there's an issue with VP9 when a stream has hiccups. The timestamp between fragments gets fucked and ffmpeg refuses to ignore and processs beyond that point. I've tried a lot of different options. H264 is fine though, so I removed the VP9 flag in my scripts for now.
I plan to try and figure something out eventually, but it requires I save all fragments for a stream to file and not have them deleted when concatenating to the main file. Not looking forward to it honestly.

Just removing --vp9 should be fine. -w and -r are mutually exclusive with -r taking precedence, so you could remove -w too.
Per the help message, under --monitor-channel: "Implies '-r 60 --merge' unless set separately." So you can remove your "-r60 --merge" too, just for a cleaner command.

Yeah, MEGA is not ideal for huge files, I think you can download 5GB and then need to wait a couple of hours to resume. It's usually not a problem for stream archives because they are rarely that big but that one was quite a a long stream.
