For once, she's a blonde with blue eyes which is already the second most common design in Hololive, secondly she was designed by one of the biggest "sameface" artists out there. Her chest was a mistake made by the rigger and her body proportions are out of wack. Now move on to the theme... What ever is it? A detective? Is that really an interesting archetype? But then they added medical instruments on top and i know they're mixing Sherlock and Dr. Watson but why? Is that really an topical angle for a vtuber? Why did a japanese girl in her 20s (Nabi) choose that? And was the execution the best? She literally has the same color palette and arrangement as SpongeBob. I remember clearly people being the most confused about her when EN was revealed, she didn't even fit with the whole "mythical" theme. Hell her design was so bland she had to pull out the time travel bit out of her ass.

But then she started streaming... And we got to know her, the girl behind the weird ass design. And she was the cutest, hardworking, caring girl in the world and she made a million people fall in love with her, just by her personality,.

It was probably a mix of inputs, Amelia is a creative type so once they gave her the detective sketches, she asked for some finishing touches, which included the stethoscope/concotion tubes.

The first collab stream already indicates what they were trying to do, Amelia is the one investigating the mythical beings, she's the doomguy of Holomyth but decided to chill with the demons instead.
