In early 2020s I thought I would enjoy pre Vshojo / early Vshojo because I was an ironic weeb who enjoyed Nyanners. I didn't stick with only them though, 2021 I kinda shopped around for vtubers to watch.

Fast forward to 2022-2023, and I'm now firmly a NijiID-HoloID unity watcher

I only thought Towa would be my oshi for half a year after her debut, but I ended up switching to Astel. I'm not a woman or gay, I just like the vibe of Holostars more than Hololive. I still like Towa and watch her, but I have no interest in her Hololive collabs at all

Yeah, a few months after my oshi went on an "indefinite hiatus" that turned into retirement. But technically I moved on before she officially retired.
Now my new oshi is on a similar hiatus... I'll never find true love...

I used to only watched english VTubers, but hearing your native language just hits different.
There is something endearing to hearing a anime girl speaking on some reginal accent from your country.
