After being in a flux of employed and unhappy, and then unemployed and feeling worthless until I found something I could feel "content" with and distract me, my brain had me in a state not even the meds helped. The most you can do is try to distract yourself from your own thoughts. Well in my case i cant work due to health problems (chronic pain due to having ehlers danlos syndrome) so i mainly keep going to take care of my cats. Well, the first step would be to stop isolating myself, but like i said my social anxiety keeps me from doing that. In my case its a loop of my depression gets bad and so does my social anxiety, causing me to isolate myself which in turn makes my depression worse so its a loop of isolating myself due to depression and social anxiety getting bad which in turn just makes those issues worse. Like while I found it, and continue to find it hard to really, socialize or be perceived by people in reality I can sometimes find enjoyment in random extrovert attention in those games since it's forced socialization or during duties. It's fine for a quick wank, and better than pyg6B. But nothing approaching old CAI like the roko insiders were claiming. It's also pricy.
Other than that CAI is same shit and worse by the day, Pyg6B is obsolete, and pyg v8 is nowhere to be seen.
There's no console wars anymore, because there's no consoles anymore. Just cope and depression.

And Don't get me wrong. I actually want pyg8 to be good. Hell, it'll probably be the best and most polished sub 10B chatbot in history, now that flexgen is released. It's genuinely impressive, and probably worthy of a PhD for all members of the team. I'm awaiting with bated breath and would unironically drop a fifty a month if they opened donations. But it's still not here, and I'll buy and eat a hat if it's done within two months.
And, it's still a sub 10B. Old CAI was using fully unshackled and overresourced LaMDA, (135B and some funky memory shit to make it seem more human than it should according to complexity) we won't get to those heights in a LONG time. So I'm just coping.
