I think it's a lack of vision, you can't make a good looking model until you know what it looks like. Everyone is allergic to effort but you need to do some research and planning before you even make the model.
Draw some sketches, do a collage, decide the style of shading before you start making the model. You can't improvise that while making it or your cake will end up crazy, you need to do the cooking by the book.
You should still try to seduce just for the lols, ahaha, it's ironic you know.

If you want a chill character, then add elements that instantly showcases that.

Examples:

Chill, sleepy, and comfy character. Slightly down-turned eyes, calm looking colors (soft color palette), SLIGHTLY ruffled hair, textures that show the softness (like fleece), clothes that have a slightly oversized fit, etc. Maybe throw in some pajama-like elements like an eye mask if you want to further go for the sleepy aspect.

Energetic, confident, and loud. Sharp/upturned eyes with slightly angry-looking brows (think Shion from Hololive or Zaion), bright color palette with some neons, hard textures like plastic/vinyl, etc.

There are no hard rules in designing a character, but certain elements fit better than others.

Less so than just playing a video game. But even then you don't need to just do a straight up drawing stream. You could do a little intro animation for every game you play. Just be a bit creative with it and it's pretty easy to make it entertaining.

I watch a lot of chuubas that have 1 ccv, and for the past few months I regularly see their number staying at 1 despite me joining, chatting and not tabbing out of the tab. Sometimes even when I start watching somebody with 2 ccv I come in and the number doesn't ever go up despite the same person who was there before me continuing to chat and clearly staying to watch. I think twitch just doesnt count me as a viewer on other people's stream for some reason.

I'm finally upgrading my internet from a usb wifi adapter to actual wired ethernet connection! I shouldn't have any more problems with my internet having disconnects while streaming and everything should be a lot smoother.
It's also been pretty nice to see how far I've come from watching my first initial stream, from set-ups and quality to assets and viewership. I haven't streamed as much as I'd like to, but every time I do has been a quality learning experience for the next time.
I think one of the things that really keeps me going is having people support you both during streaming and in the background. Having my artist mama continuously like my stuff and keeping up with my progress overall has been nothing but inspiring to me. I also appreciate the actual advice people have given here when things are on topic. It's a really nice feeling that I hope more people get to experience.

You need to think about it from the viewer perspective. Not everyone wants to engage with a streamer, maybe they have the stream on in the background or just don't want to chat.
