then one night, fuuchan finally gets a clear view of his brother's face in his dreams. he starts off in denial but he can't shake off the suspicions that crowd his mind. he musters up the courage to obliquely question vox about in. i don't know whether i want vox to come clean, which i think might be closer to his actual personality, or keep the lie going because he's in too deep and he's deathly afraid fuuchan will leave him.

Kindreds, I'm working on fic and I like to have kind of like a solid core of a character in my head when I do so...and Vox has been a bit of a challenge for me. So I've been watching clips of his interactions, and so far this is what I've got:
- at his heart, a goof, a clown
- but can pivot on a dime and turn on the charm, charisma, seduction, seemingly wholly unrelated to the rambly, passionate goofball prior
- a deep and aching care for those that matter to him, which can drive anger in their defense and is also a deep weakness, particularly when he thinks he's wronged them; one of the few things that can break his confidence.
How does that sound so far? Keep in mind I write their kayfabe/characters, not streamers.

that's initially where i wanted to go with it too. i imagine a more jaded vox who's willing to choose the morally dubious means to his end, and the part of him that believes he failed his brother in their previous incarnations now compensates by being almost overbearingly protective. but he's smarter about it this time around and confident he's able to camouflage all the strings he's pulling, so he doesn't consider fuuchan might have personal possessions left behind by their parents that could give their blood relation away...

it'd conclude with fuuchan leaving, feeling bewildered and betrayed that vox had this entire operation running behind his back to keep him in the dark. maybe he takes refuge in a a church and starts working at a daycare or something. they'd reconcile after fuuchan realizes at the end of everything, all things considered, he still loves vox and probably always will across their lifetimes. vox tries to give him his distance (even though he found out exactly where fuuchan is and keeps tabs on him) but he's pretty much crumbling to dust on the inside. fuuchan succumbs to his too-soft heart, he returns to check up on vox and sees right through his pristine façade, and can't bring himself to leave vox to wither away in his grief. they live happily ever after. in the extra fuuchan discovers the brother thing turns him.
