I can suggest an extension called HoloSchedule. As the name suggests it's basically a schedule for holo streams and you can pick which ones to show up in your feed (includes the homos and CN girls since it's a relatively old extension or the devs see that as part of history, idk). It goes for ~3 days back, all current streams and like 80% of scheduled streams, ie doesnt include just chatting streams that've been scheduled for 1 year in the future. It also sometimes sends you notifications about streams starting but i'm not sure how it decides which ones to inform you about

Is there a tool that notifies you when a holo makes a community post on youtube? I know there has to be a way because some discord bots are able to do it. But I would like to do that myself without relying on fan discords.

I been using this tool for months on chrome. However, you should know there's still a bug in that when the vtuber does a poll you won't be able to see the live voting or the final tally without turning off "Disable HyperChat". This is on both youtube and twitch.

It's been months and they've known about it but still there. At least on youtube we can see the poll and even interact with it and pick our choice but after that you have no idea. Usually when I see this I pop open a new tab with the live stream and quickly disable hyperchat and look at the polling till the results come in then go back to the original tab and continue to watch. On twitch though the poll never shows up the same with the final tally.

There is no setting for community posts. I never get notified about them. I have to randomly find them in my youtube feed or manually click on a chuuba channel and check the tab. The only notification for community posts I get are the members. I get an email for that. But the normal posts? nope

You can now increase/decrease speed with a single click rather than opening up the settings menu on Youtube. You can also increase the volume well beyond the Youtube maximum limit, as well as a bunch of other shit.

I also use YTCFilter which lets you catch messages from certain types of users in chat or even specific chatters if you are so inclined, it's good for fast chats where the comments from other chuubas or something like that would be quickly drowned away

That's why I'm looking for a reliable way. It's possible because discord bots can do it. They ping you as soon as a chuuba posts something. The problem is that I rely on fancords ( and lots of them since I want to be notified for lots of chuubas) and I don't want that.
Hell, I will even make my own discord, just for myself, with bots that will ping me. I just need to know how, and which bots I need.

any good way to track when someone goes live on youtube? i use chatterino for twitch streams which is perfect, but browser-based stuff seems to not work very well.

Maybe not for when you're watching for the first time but the scrolling comments add to the fun in archives and normal videos. But then again NND comments are specifically meme-y compared to youtube chats so it's not as funny with regular comments.
I don't have it on hand but the Hololive Ochame Kinou chorus with these types of comments on are chaotic walls of stuff like oshi marks and memes and it was fun.

i have this issue with member/community posts where i can't see them all and they get duplicated. anyone know a fix for that? also a tool for archiving twitter posts is the Twitter Media Downloader extension. you can check the box for "no media" and it will save all posts in a csv file for you along with all images/videos posted

Is there anything that automatically closes YT chat? I very rarely every look at chat and mostly end up closing it. It'd be nice to just have to manually open it the few times I use it versus having it to close it 99% of the time.
