Faunyaa pretty cute tho. Here are my recommendations...
1) CFG of 11 is too high, try 5-8
2) work on your quality tags a bit, you can use my images as examples. I don't overemphasize them, but if you don't tell it you want great lighting, shadow, etc, it won't give it to you
3) try grouping your tags, again you can see my prompts as an example where I split tag groups by +. Group your quality tags, your scenery tags, your subject tags, etc. I think it helps.
4) don't be afraid to try different models
5) if you need to go quad brackets on a prompt with that few tags you probably need to be more specific. Only reason I go up to 1.6/1.7 in my prompts is because I have 20+ tags, some of which conflict with each other.

As for your question about good images, I've spent somewhere on the order of 10 hours refining the prompt itself as well as the bigger, fitter, furrier, tagsets. Putting that work in up front cuts down on garbage images, leaving me to choose. Right now I'd say that vanilla, Bigger, and Fitter give me an 80%+ hitrate. Fluffy is still 60%ish.

whats everyone's preferred upscaler? Had been using latent nearest-exact for a long time just because i once saw it recommended it but recently started trying R-ESRGAN 4x+ Anime 6B again just because someone recommended it. My "secret" is to prepaint in Photoshop (I have some experience redrawing as a scanlator). Makes it much easier for Stable Diffusion to "get what I mean".

How do some of you manage to get the image to be focused only on specific parts of the body?
I've been trying to make an armpit focused image, but no matter what I do or what I add to the negatives, the AI insists on making the image feature the full body image instead of just making it be from the bust up (which is usually the case for armpit-focus images)

I do use 512x768 base res + upscaling by 1.35, but for that one I just started gradually reducing the image height in hopes it would start focusing only on the upper body though it didn't really change anything

thanks a lot for the advice, didn't know about the issues with high weight. I did that for the night sky one because it really wasn't doing anything until I put it like that, but I'll change it back

it really depends on what they do. link me to the char lora so I can experiment with you in a bit. also, kek, night sky is what a lot of us use to PREVENT image cropping, since it causes "headroom" above the character
