I just think that vtubers who fail to maintain a reasonable level of kayfabe should be classified as a different genre. Something more akin to vrchat streams or irl streamers.

The vtube kayfabe is completely ruined if you start treating your vtuber socials exactly like your own personal socials. That's not to say you can't put pieces of your personality into the kayfabe, but you have to at least keep the bare minimum roleplaying going somewhat consistently.
