japanese work visas are not hard to get if you're working with a well established company with normal jobs.
renewing a work visa with a company that has a very vague description of what the job is, or as a "youtuber" is hard. cover only has had two other foreigners living in japan, kiara who never recieved a visa from cover and coco who is rumored to have a visa from being jp herself.
if a company has never had to do this process before, and has a very stupid job description like "idol", it would be a lot harder to renew her visa esl-kun

Every country wants a birth rate that is at least maintaining their current population, because if it starts to decline that will eventually create issues when you don't have enough people to fill all required job roles. this will really inhibit the growth of the economy, which nobody wants.
It can lead to other problems too, like reduced tax revenue for government spending/social programs. In russia you even get paid for having children because they're so worried about the birth rates.

You only have to pay taxes to the US government if you paid less in the country you're working in than you would have in the US with the same income. So if you're living in a country with a high tax rate, you'll be exempt from paying any tax to America.

Sucks if you're moving away to pay less in taxes, but you will never be double taxed at least.

If you’re an American moving to japan just seems like a stupid idea. After I got my Japanese certificate in university I had some companies scouting me to work abroad, but I completely avoided that shit. It’s already really hard to avoid a dead, dispassionate corporate job here in America. From what I’ve been told Japan seems even worse in that regard. Going to Akihabara for the 500th time doesn’t really seem like it’ll make my life much better when I’m wage slaving in a foreign land.
The only exception is if you’re rich as fuck, or have plans to work a non standard job like Mori
