Instead of using ally 2 to kill enemy A and clear the way for ally 1 to kill enemy B Kiara will usually have ally 1 kill enemy A and then just move up ally 2 who is unable to reach enemy B thus wasting an attack and leaving ally 1 (and sometimes also 2) open for a counter attack.
She still has ways to go but she isn't fumbling in the dark and just getting lucky.
