The discords are not too active, I don't think they're the reason the thread is dying. I think general fatigue is really what is causing the death the thread. Hype has died down, several people probably left during the great schizo drama around coco, and inconsistent schedules has lead to people just not having the dedication to keep up with the thread anymore. Most of /us/ keep it up because it is a fun place to be anonymous, but FlaVR being small as it is, there just isn't much to talk about anymore. Anything we have to say about streams everybody already knows, because we are watching those streams live already. It would be nice to get updates from current streams when we have overlap, but without clips they really don't make sense.

This might be inappropriate we could help produce segments that would be fun for the fans since we're in the best position to know what we want to see. I don't want to hijack but can't we just ask them? We could have a bank of skits and segments so FlaVR talents can dip in to the pipkin pool when they are struggling for content. The organisation of a Vtuber is the talent makes a channel and the fans interact in chat and make fanart through approved channels like other media. Clips, fanart, fanfiction and interacting on twitter. FlaVR started from Pippa and everyone /here/ contributing. We're all a part of FlaVR because we all gave our energy to the spirit bomb. We're not fans of specific personality but the group project FlaVR and by extension we're fans of ourselves.

I'd like there to be ongoing projects that fans can contribute to. It can be directed solely by excitement and pipkin. We can also put a call out to the FlaVR talents and ask if they need help preparing for streams i.e. getting media ready, doing recordings for "have a nice day" with watame type segments. scripts, songs, prompts, art for the streams.

Personally, I would like to have art projects that are done on the chans that the chuubas then pick up and interact with. The form and substance is up for grabs though.

- We could write scripts for kayfabe beefs between the flaVR talents like they do in WWE and radio shows.
- ASMR scripts (potentially ones that use attributes of the posters in chat)
- We could make content that is designed to be reacted to by specific talents. (This is a method of including fans without the stress of yabs)
- Actual gifts. It would be nice if someone wrote a python script that create a list of the name of participants in chat for reading out. Pippa could use it lol.
- It would be nice if someone wrote a program in UXN for mixie.
- There are a lot of fanfiction writers so readings of any type of written work.
- Clippers are always welcome so we could work on short videos together.
- We could use excess Vtuber designs as bit characters or alter-egos to allow the talents to do radioplays and experiment with different voices.
- We could work out regular segments that would be entertaining.
- View heavy work of compiling topics that chuubas cut short in previous zatsu and compiling them to allow the talents to review and take votes on which they would like to hear more about.
- Compilation of reactandy videos specific to the chuubas.
- I think while she is on stream Pippa uses her discord mods to feed her info occasionally if she doesn't know something so we could make that a thing.

In the other direction if there was just a todo list that the chuubas maintained and you could pick a task there's nothing wrong with that. Ideally they would have things that wanted to do that need a bit of legwork and ask their fans for help.

It depends on what the girls want. It's completely up to their discretion. After the girls got started up we defaulted in to the standard streamer/viewer relationship because everyone here are trying to be nice and considerate and not overstep boundaries and take over stream.

In general, I would recommend looking to the Touhou fandom community for inspiration. The original games have a ton of scuff, but it's really the fancontent that drives the popularity, with the original works as sort of a central hub. FlaVR itself is basically a vtuber doujin circle as it currently stands. There is a lot of potential here, but it's on us to make it happen.

I didn't know about the Touhou fan community that seems really cool. I see what you're saying how that's an established relationship that works between Touhou and it's fans. I think their community looks really great and time has proven that the model works. FlaVR could copy that approach and be done with it. I have a personal interest in fanworks in general so I'll keep suggesting things from time to time regardless. I am not basing my ideas of community and joint contribution on the country responsible for Nintendo.

Basically, the reason I think that is it seems rude to me in a fan/entertainer dynamic. Streamers tend to be very busy, and when fans bug them with "hey can you drop whatever you're doing and take a look at this", it's more work for them. I used to do that, and I cringe looking back on it. For FlaVR, they're small enough that it's probably not a problem, but I think establishing that sort of boundry early on is important.
For fan content, I think it's more better to post it out in the open where other people will see it and share it around, and if it's good enough, it'll make its way to them organically. Or not, and if so, you have to be ok with that.

Just cut the highlights. If you want to do creative editing, it is nice, but it's not necessary. I'm a big fan of Dry's editing style for the highlights videos of ZFG streams, but the shorter clip styles of most vtuber clippers works better with the youtube algorithm if you want to go after that.

Well FlaVR helped make assets and organise the streamers. If it wasn't cringe then how is it cringe now? Perhaps it is cringe by the standard of wanting to alter our oishi's stream; how can man improve upon the image of the gods. There was a lot of distrust towards you due to the whole "taking over marie's character" idea, and general distrust towards "unplanned" FlaVRs (like twanipop), due to a very unsavoury and generally disliked guy (Spooki) trying to insert himself multiple times as a manager of FlaVR (see s o yboy240 on twitter (without the spaces)), but you have won over a lot of anons and a fair amount of anti-mixie anons too.
This place is less of a "forum" in the "TOPIC roleplay forum" way and more in the "we are all wearing the same kind of mask and are yelling our opinions without fear of repercussion, expecting equally honest/blunt answers", kinda way, you don't need to state you're being OOC, we can separate the OOC topics from the kayfabe. You can be as friendly or as hostile as you want here, but do mind your writing patterns, as those can identify you even if anonymous.
Do expect more hostile language, such as faggot, nigger (which interestingly is used both in an endearing way and as an attack towards someone being awful or stupid, used against ways of thought and behaviour rather than race), cunt, etc. That is normal, there are no such things as trigger warnings in here.
If you do venture outside of this particular thread, you'll probably find stuff you'll like, but I recommend against browsing /pol/, /b/ and the like before acclimating to the general attitude of 4chan.

I wouldn't dabble on the whole NFT circles if I were you, it's a neat concept, but it provides absolutely nothing that can't be provided without server farm blockchains (not to mention the whole deal that almost all NFT projects don't actually store the asset on the blockchain, but rather a link to said asset, meaning you can actually lose the asset if the link's contents get tampered or deleted and have a now worthless NFT, as it links to nothing). NTA, but I did debate about this. It seems the thread is not really interested, but it seems with recent talk about branching out by doing fanstuffs, that opinion might have shifted.
Problem I see is getting models together. If we could somehow port the vroid models to blender, it would save a lot of time as we have all the talents already (thanks ozone). Otherwise we'd have to make them in KK. Unfortunately we kinda told the one guy with actual experience with blender to kick rocks (thanks cocospergs) and idk if we have anybody else that knows how to do 3D modelling.
I lurk the VTL discord, but it seems like a daunting task to take on myself, with no experience with 3D modelling or football, which is kinda important for a football sim game.

3D models are not hard if your just using card/box heads, all you have to do is slap a image on the already existing model and its done, a lot of new teams with no prior experience with blender do this for their first outing in the VTL, also for things like importing models, VTL has AES guys that can help you out

That is the strength that YT shorts have. The conversion rate from shorts/clip watcher to active chatter is always going to be insanely small but that's perfectly normal, the idea is to get the streamer in front of the viewers eyes a couple of times until they've built up enough familiarity and likeness to actually check out the streamer.
