I very rarely actually adress the opening in my writing nowadays, I'm probably still insecure about past mistakes. But I think it enhances the writing if done properly, adressing too much leads to synonym usage which can break the reader out of it. On a related note, it's quite hard not to write "back and forth" every single paragraph to fluff up the writing. I have to actively catch myself and change up lots of words because of the small breaks I take between writing each paragraph and thus repeating words.

Alas, I am done with my 500 words of the night, I did it in just 20 minutes, with some nice music to go with it. I was even considering 1k, but to avoid possible burn out, I'll refrain. As expected, all that armchair therapist talk was uneeded. I'm still quite tired, or at least my eyes are, but I have no problem writing if I keep the mindset of "turn off your brain and write the words you're thinking off, now", all I need to do is not jerk off twice per night on the only day or two that I have free time to write and I'm good. Just came across the HF Dream Arena with the battle against Noel while I was checking the series archive and decided to share my thoughrs. It was great, just some good old Holofantasy dice-based combat that I'm pretty sure I've been missing. It made me recall just how much I like the system and how well the fight is translated to entertaining prose given what you have to work with.
I can't say anything besides that since it was mostly just a fight, but the ending teaser was cool, I forgot that was in the works.

Glad to see another installment of this. There is definitely an improvement on scene descriptors in this one, which I enjoyed. You really painted the scenes a little better and gave them a little more substance. I like how the story is progressing, very cute. Just keep getting more descriptive and you'll keep making this story even better. I would give it another round of proofreading though if you can.

I gotta assume that's supposed to be "am", I knew what you meant with the context, but I still had to do a double take of it. Also with that ending scene in general, it was hard to follow and try to figure out who exactly was talking. Since it's a scene based around a messenger app, it might be neat to play with the idea of giving each member an identifier of sorts on their text line. The simplest thing that comes to my mind is to color the text to indicate who the message is from. A highlighted color background might work for the format of retry, but I'm not too familiar with that for docs.
Overall, I liked it, and am super stoked you took the feedback from the previous chapter in stride. Keep it up!

Things slip by the best of us, but the good news is that your eyes will be more honed to find those types of things in the future. I don't even know what a chatroom fic is, but I also don't really read fics outside of what gets posted here. It was less of a grasping issue, since I could work out who was likely saying what in the conversation, I just think it's a good opportunity to add some visual flair to the piece. It's definitely not a deal breaker, but I think it's a cool type of scene to let yourself get creative with the text formatting. It might also be on brand for these council zoomers to have all sorts of motifs and shit for their messaging apps.

damn i wish i could be you, it is a really REALLY popular type of fic that emulates a chatroom and is chapters and chapters of small zingers/ characters interactions with goofy names, and the problem is that there's only so much you can write before driving into weird headcannon territory+shipping and they are notorious for introducing way too much characters.

That's always a tough call for a lot of anons. I'm of the opinion that you should write on what inspiration is calling you towards and what is fun for you at the time. If you try to force yourself on what you think you SHOULD be writing just for the sake of finishing, you might not have a great time. Some people can thrive from that sort of mindset, but I don't think I'm one of them. There's always the chance that if you start that other story, you might be hit with inspiration or the urge to get back to your other WIP, so it can kinda work like a trade.

I'm actually starting with a personal trainer today along with my wife. Tonight's session will likely be a set of exercises to give the trainer an idea of our current physique and limits so they can begin to create a workout plan to do ourselves through the week. In the informational on Saturday with another person, he had us do wall sits, planks, sleigh weight pushes/pulls, and finally just a simple triceps curl machine. I'm guessing tonight will be more of the same. Not looking forward to doing the sleigh pull or the plank again, the pull is tough as fuck to do quickly since my calves pull easily, which is something I hope to fix with the trainer's help.

I‘d agree with the others that you can definitely see some improvement over the last chapter, though you could put a bit more effort into proof reading. The further the chapter progresses, the more numerous the mistakes seem. They’re not too off-putting, but it‘d be an easy fix and a way to up the quality of your work with little more effort than to touch up on punctuation and grammar for a bit.

We've been hitting the gym consistently for the past month, but I feel more of a burn from a structured workout in just a half hour than I did with 1 hour of circuit training. I barely spend money on shit as it is. Most I've been buying personally lately is more Hololive weiss cards since I need shiny Polkas for my deck.
