I'm not sure how good their Japanese skills all really are but if they have any serious capacity for it maybe a few could hang with some better-known NijiJP for the time being. It's too early for big clout collabs so they will need to grow internally somehow. Thing is, NijiJP itself doesn't really have the same kind of meteoric growth rate as the comparison everyone will make. The biggest Nijis are like mid-tier Holo subs. Take all that in context that most or all the NijiENs will hit 100k soon and that is actually not small potatoes at all when Mito herself is like 740 and took quite longer than a couple weeks to get that milestone.

So what is the comparison then? Try to get them to HoloEN type subs, views etc? If that cannot be done then don't expect NijiEN to get all that big. It's unlikely that a new English vtuber community will spring up out of thin air in support of them, that kind of serendipitous dam-breaking moment already happened with EN and they reaped the benefits.

So the best rationale is, to make it well-known that NijiENs are cute, good streamers, neither impenetrably Japanese like NijiJP is nor too immature and gross like vsh*jo - and if you're stuck in EN dead hours and/or it's someone going you don't honestly like much they ARE a great option to watch. That is the message you will want to get out, if you want growth at all costs. I think Niji management already sees the writing on the wall hence the designs of the gen itself, their advertising and it being surprisingly mock-idol-like releasing a song etc is already geared for that. I'm just telling you what Anikara already is thinking - but it takes two to tango and that other counterpart is the community taking that ball and rolling with it.

I don't understand how the journal is a mess. It describes *everything*, it's basically a quest log from just how much it describes stuff. It needs to because you need directions. There is actually fast travel, though - you just need to visit an NPC to do it, like the carriages in Skyrim. Magic is super customisable, you can do basically anything.
