The first game didn’t work out because their mics weren’t working and I think some of them crashed. They then moved on to among us, one of wife’s favorites, but it was just frustrating. i'll be honest, the way he was trying to teach them wasn't going to work out, it was too time-consuming. pomu just explaining the roles worked better. and when he reported the body and didn't want to tell them where he found it, that was definitely him letting the frustration get to him. his tolerance for luca's trolling is usually higher too. and he's been in worse amongus lobbies and learned to adapt and enjoy it. once again not saying it's his fault, that one hour of setup pre-stream only to have it all fall apart would wear down anyone.

Sure the way he was going to teach was time consuming, but it was thorough and it made sense to him to do it step by step since Doppio made it seem like he didn’t know jack shit. Wife does usually have a bigger tolerance for Luca’s shenanigans, he had tolerance for it earlier when Luca threw as the monster in spaceman, but it just didn’t work out this time because wife already knew this wasn’t working for him. He tried to make it work but no one was listening. Everyone wanted to talk and no one wanted to listen, and that tired him out. Like you said, he’s dealt with bigger lobbies and been fine, but he’s usually not the only voice of reason. Him and Uki were the only ones who wanted people to quite down and let others speak.
I’m not really blaming others. Like selen pointed out, it was obvious that wife wasn’t taking it seriously and that brought down her mood. I’m not going to act like wife lashing out a tiny bit was warranted, but I’m also not going to sit here and act like it was out of nowhere and not expected. I don’t know. Maybe his annoyance carried over to me.

Okay but I’ll throw my two cents in and say that it was a frustrating came to watch. Fulgur was on his wits end and nobody was really listening to each other. Doppio and Kotoka being confused made it worse. Usually Fulgur is fine with among us, but with this lobby I would’ve chose a different game. I don’t think duck duck goose would’ve worked because that’s a lot of roles people have to learn. Yeah it’s a bit chiller than among us, but it doesn’t make sense to enter a game with more roles. I don’t know what game they could’ve played, but among us wasn’t the best choice they had by far.

I think the constant bottom jokes got to him and it made him feel bad to have his sexuality misrepresented like that. He's always assured that he was a switch in his serious moments. Late to the party but I need to get this off my chest; I really wish for him to get better. As someone who watched him for over three months and even vodposted a bit but stopped sometime after the apex tournament with Ren and Maria, I get the sense he truly does not have a life outside of being a streamer, and conversely would do better streaming less rather more. In particular, less solo apex, or shorter apex streamers so he can go do other things so that he has more (new) things to talk about the next time he streams. Nothing against apex, I actually prefer it over valo, but the solo grind experience can get pretty numbing while also providing little opportunity for the streamer to improve. Compare to say, untitled goose game which is just basically gags in game form but without voiceover commentary so the streamer still gets to put their spin on things.

I honestly think he's a decently entertaining streamer outside of Apex streams, I feel like if he just dropped that game his stream quality would immediately skyrocket. But I know that's not realistic. Otsonny!! Eastward part 4! The heat was still beating his ass but luckily he was in higher spirits today and didn't almost make himself pass out, and I'm glad he had an easier time with VA by delaying stream a bit. First couple hours had a bit of a weird plot tangent in the new city— lot of dialogue and what was essentially a wild goose chase that took three quests to make a decent meal, but things got more interesting during/after the dungeon crawling segments. There's just so much going on with the ever-growing cast of characters... even if some scenes dragged on a bit, I very much enjoyed the EN wakamoto voice he assigned to today's antagonist. Alva somewhat redeems her annoying self by helping save new dam city and after two streams, chapter 3 comes to a close. Sonny was silly in this stream, making the usual dumb quips and having cute reactions to the sometimes stupid shit that happens, and it makes me happy he's still able to enjoy eastward despite its flaws. I've seen some people /here/ have mixed reactions towards the game so far, but I like it! I think it's okay to have something a little slower paced to commit to even if it's not everyone's cup of tea.
