first i would like to clear up something in regards to when i told you i had wronged you 2 days ago since when i got home and could write more properly, you weren't in thread anymore it seems and i want this properly out before you decide if and how much you want to continue interacting with me.

first is that i want to apologize once more for the whole volcano thing, i tried once before but i want t reiterate that despite my own wrries about them i never meant for it to get that out of hand and mix you in with that.

second is that i actually was a major factor into the shit that happened with alice recently as i too had accused her and you of being the same person a day before due to my personal fears and worries and overall bad mental space that the last 2-3 weeks had been for me in here and you two people being the same oro at least friends was a convenient way of thinking that would explai all my worries and fears. With that i not only wronged a friend but also you and i won't make excuses for my shitty actions because thats what they were, shitty actions.

knowing this, if you rather stay away and not deal with me, i can understand that and won't hold it against you but to me it's important to get this out in the open because it would be unfair towards you.

Anyway as for you questions, i thought you didn't want to be mercenaries after the initial conflict anymore?

And of course we would love to trade with you a lot. As one of the big trading nations we can get stuff froom pretty much around the world if its accessable by public and we ourselves got a shitton of craftsmen that specialise in all kinds of old techniques from across the world and gave it their spin to make it still worth it.

In fact if there are some way of crafting you have brought with you from the old lands, then we would be happy if some of our people are given a chance to learn them.

Ok, we pay you in gold and transport you from the islands to the main land for the conflict.

as for the trade deal its general trade between us and a workpass for craftsmen that allow them to live in each others nations for the purpose of work and learning.

would you like to exchange port offices too like you did with alice?

and lastly i would like to propose a deal between us in regards to the straight that is our national border as in we keep this guarded and closed off towards outside nations and have it be a way for nations of the north to trade with each other in the inland sea with no military presence. Does that sound interesting to you? /voms/ does something similar with the straight that divides the continent halfs.

In the same vein i would like to come up with an official name for the straight because i hope you can understand i am not very particular about calling it the straight of theophilos.

as for the strait, how would "Everlasting Strait" sound? a marriage should be everlasting so that would be relevant to you, everlasting is a good mindset for vtubers i think since /lig/ is about chuubas that are big and hopefully everlasting due to it and retro things cann be considered everlasting so that would be relevant for us.

I'm looking into it, if there is any, then it's likely not directly on the border. Still, easy enough to move around the country.
I somewhat doubt Honey production would be a massive thing, maybe I can retake that "only produced by the rich" thing
I'm not too keen on having them be common products, but it'd make sense if we consider the sugar rush spring festival, so I'd say maple syrup at least should be easy and relatively cheapt to get.

The thing about honey is you do need to take care of bees. We were looking into raising our own bees but the city won't let us do it in city borders. A flower garden is nice. Though honey bees travel up to 20 miles away from the nest. And if you're in a farm then you'll have lots of flowers from crops. We'll have to make a bee keeper suit. Building the box shouldn't be too difficult otherwise.

Even if the soil quality isn't the best you should have lots of wildflowers.

Need to look into it but honey is probably a big secondary product of the berry farms. For example strawberry plants are hermaphroditic so farmers are probably pretty happy to let bees pollinate for them. Artificial pollination should be practiced pretty widely in this period but for some rural areas with less manpower bees are probably the main pollinator. In fact honey although less productive should be the most accessible form of sugar for people before the global sugar cane trade and sugar beats.

Or the big strait between the two landmasses can be the Sea of Siro.

I looked up names for straits in real like and most of them seem to be named after a city or place. Many of our cities are just CCU cities that we conquered and massacred, and idk how old CCU is compared to you so maybe name it after one of those cities. Unless you call it Strait of (city name) that is your big city there. That will be something I can agree to!!

well since the shared origin of many people on our continent actually isn't /jp/ but "offtopia" aka other things like /trash/ since thats where /wvt/ was from mainly or even stuff like reddit etc where many of the EN tubers come from, i wanted parts of it to reflect that heritage in that regard and is why Siroo is not something i am too keen on.

i appreciate the offer of naming it after my city, but i purposely waited for others in that region because i rather name it together than selfishly name it myself just because i was the first writer of the region.

if i may suggest onne more thing "Strait of Saotome" after Nina Saotome, she is a /lig/ger that has beenn around for quite some time, is also in /vrt/ because she plays a lot of retro and she also would have relevance for /ccu/ in that fallenshadow, a chuuba from former /ccu/ actually considers her a very dear and important friend.

i had an idea i figured i would mention. when i initially thought of the abilities that /meat/heads would have in-universe, as in the very first proper mention of a magic system in this thread, see pic-rel, i imagined it as a power that would grow in strength and control based on how much each individual user followed the core concept's philosophy and way of life, with /meat/ magic gaining strength through harm, and control through pain, but the greatest form of harm is death, and hell is described as the greatest form of pain which occurs in the afterlife (ie after death), and i've recently been thinking about hxh's magic system, so i figured that old idea might work better with a post-mortem sort of thing. this only makes sense if viewed in the context of the cylinder-analogy, and might require a glyph that adds the condition to all /meat/ chuubanite which strengthens /meat/ chuubanite based on the following of the life cycle per-user.
basically, a catalognaut could theoretically create and sentence themselves to their own personal hell scape where their "soul" will go to when their body fails, then use the resulting additional strength and control caused by the damage and pain to "resurrect" themselves with power to spare, similar to how hxh does it. this of course requires that they know how to actually resurrect themselves, and any degree of failure means they will be sentenced to live the rest of their afterlife in that hell scape. btw, for those that didn't know, i discussed with someone how an afterlife could be possible in this setting, and it likely requires a few very complex glyphs, if not beings that can directly communicate with the conceptual realm, hence why it would be easiest with a catalognaut. an afterlife wouldn't be natural, but could be granted by the default conditions of a given concept, but likely would not be eternal, depending on the nature of the concept itself.
to put it somewhat more broadly, it might be possible to create "conditions" that could change the way chuubanite naturally interacts based on any identifiable factor that is written into it's concept via artificial concepts. these conditions can also be used to either strengthen or limit the use of chuubanite based on those factors, so long as the concepts defining what those conditions and effects are are maintained, most likely through the use of glyphs, so it'll end once the glyphs become ineffective unless it's a natural result of the core concepts that a given nation's chuubanite is based on. i'm going to bed, but when /meat/bro and founder see this, as well as any of the other chuubanite autists, please let me know what you guys think.

I would like to propose the placement of two nations in North Indie bros. I am a big fan of Kawaii and i visit there thread a lot so i really want to write for them and have some fun. I also believe that /wvt/ should be placed on the map as well. Here are the reasons and this map includes jidf borders for the sake of it being easier for voteanon.

>/wvt/
>1. Retro, and I agreed that since they are the /hlgg/ of Indie north, they should be on the map because of historical reasons and to get better local lore. Neither of us plan on writing for them, but they should be on the map because many splits are /wvt/ splits like /lig/ and /vrt/.
>2. They should be that big based on that.

>/pkg/
>1. I really love Kawaii as I said and would consider myself very familar with their thread culture and their chuubas. I may be the rep for moon, but that shouldn't disqualify me from my second home.
>2. Most of the land is desert, thus the size is because of that.
>3. The island that is claimed is perfect for Sava as a tropical paradise island, so for lore reasons I would like that too.
>4. Like Jidf, they are a growing community.

Any thoughts?

i also asked and given feedback in regards to the /pkg/ placement and from my side it seems fine and with the idea fo writing and voting not beign related and more freedom back to write for fun, i thinkk this place is a gooood thing because i also knwo others have stated their want to write foor /pkg/ potentially too.

so the island being a jungle should be well within reason

It's not crazy, you are right. There are a lot of factors that can be taken into account. IRL there aren't many islands of that size irl that are desert. The closest I can think of is Socotra, which isn't a desert at all and is one of the most biodiverse places on earth. But there also isn't a good irl comparison to this that comes to mind based on the weather pattern and the massive mountains in Tsunderia and that the wind blows away from this area in general. But there are other localized factors that can change things, and i would believe it is likely semi-arid personally.

this kinda fences on mary-sue territory dont you think? The idea of making your own afterlife would downplay the importance of our chuubas since theyre the ones who decide what will happen to their followers. Unless of course theyre /here/ or the person dying is an /asp/irant.

Also as for the old Blessings lore you wrote, I believe that enhancements like Mai's Blessings could fall under chuubanite adaptation. Similarly to the deadbeat mineralfication.
Passively; each meathead has the same endurance and faster regen adaptation.
Actively; each patron deity grants its own blessing that can only be inherited genetically. They can only be activated through glyphs drawn or tattoo'd upon their flesh. You won't know which blessing you were born with until you glyph yourself. Komma's blessings could grant flesh tendrils, AwA's blessings grant ability to fleshgraft with your own hands (I've kinda implied this with the doctor in the diphallic ritual story), Kyusai's blessing... would work in that idea you have. As her lore is resurrection + salvation. Someone with Kyusai's Blessing would be able to take on the pain of others, in their own personal torment, to heal and save them.

I disagree here with the idea that this can work with the conditions you mentioned if they're being compared with the same ones in HxH, or at the very least that it would or could work in the way that it's worded, though I'm interestsd in what exactly you mean in terms of temporary afterlife. From what I understand, anything that can be used to avoid death would also consume energy in housing the soul so even if you had a minihell that a catalognaut of meat alignment could use to potentially remake and ressurect a body, I have my doubts that the pocket hell would be able to stay up long enough for the catalognaut to recharge, it would be consuming a shit ton of magic quanta and could easily start draining the catalognaut that it's housing immediately if it's power source goes out, hell, it's very likely that establishing an alternate source of energy and a route for the catalognaut's soul to follow might be next to impossible to do. It's also important to note that pain itself can act as something that would require an input device, especially to something that no longer has nerves or biological functions to stimulate pain, you'd also be using energy in not only having a mini hell but also in making it hell in the first place, unless I've made a misstep here somewhere.

I think an extremely knowledgeable catalognaut or a group of expert and experienced glyph crafter could potentially create an "after life" but the definition of this afterlife and the nature of ressurection in question is very up to interpretation. I don't see ressurection, as in True Ressurection, as being a possibility in this world, instead I much prefer the idea of a catalognaut pooling every ounce of their magic quanta into a singular effect that can encapsulate or execute their will. If you want to use HxH as an example, Pitou's last attack is a good one and "Oh my Rubber Nen" is a fucking awful one, whatever you manage to do in terms of reincarnation really should be boiled down to a core concept of the chuuba or a set of concepts boiled down to the absolute minimum degree with the sacrifice of all other functions in order to achieve those things post mortem, and even then what actually gets ressurected probably won't even be considered human or even a living creature. I'd even be down to suggest that such a creature is severely restricted in automation to the point of basically being a puppet and requires a final external force to actually "revive" your weird fucked up homonculus thing.

Can't this be substituted with most threads or generals to the same effect? /meat/ is a thread based around ryona and abuse which is a pretty vauge and obscure concept that is very general, the reason /meat/ has had so many implications with their chuubanite is solely because it's been focusedon the most in that regards, /ag/ had a discussion where it could potentially create a fucking atom bomb due to some energy mass shit and it's a thread about fattening and weight gain.
Generals, specifically fetish gens with concepts that stretch past the vtubing sphere are going to have more diverse and varied use than those located within it but even still, I think this is the only real example of the chuubanite doc really being optimized towards meat, I don't see any other instance in the doc that specifically benefits them in a way that others don't share in.

i have more time to give a formal response to this, now.
>The idea of making your own afterlife would downplay the importance of our chuubas since theyre the ones who decide what will happen to their followers.
someone in the thread asked about whether or not it was possible to have an afterlife in this setting, i remember telling them that concepts of people would persist in the conceptual realm as long as the memory of them was still around, but that i didn't know of a way to have a conscious afterlife that people could actually experience after they died at the time, and then i came up with a way to allow an afterlife to be possible in this setting. normally, an afterlife would be based on which chuuba you believe in, but the conceptual realm can be molded via artificial concepts, and since an afterlife is possible with the default components of our system, it stands to reason that said afterlife can be subject to the other logical conclusions of our systems, including artificial afterlives. ie, if an afterlife is possible, a personalized afterlife is possible, but artificial concepts require artificial descriptions, meaning they will only last as long as the glyphs that define them into reality, so no artificial afterlife can be eternal by the axiom that they are artificial, meanwhile, natural concepts such as those formed by chuubas can only be destroyed if the concept itself is destroyed. that was what i was trying to get at. i haven't slept well in days, so sorry if i was (am) not very good at articulating that.
the whole point was to show how it was possible, almost all of the ideas i came up with regarding the natural application of chuubanite where i used /meat/ as an example had some explicit mention of how it would only be possible in the future, in this case, i mentioned it, but it was less explicit, so i apologize for that.
>>41694287
>this of course requires that they know how to actually resurrect themselves, and any degree of failure means they will be sentenced to live the rest of their afterlife in that hell scape.
first point was that it required knowledge of how to prevent death, and the second showed that literally any degree of failure would have immense consequences. combined, it likely wouldn't even be tested until we have a fair amount of certainty that we can resolve most fatal conditions, meaning this wont be possible until some time well after our current era.

everything in the conceptual realm is a concept. souls do not exist as entities, they exist as concepts, though they might be better described as memories, or former conceptual structures. in the conceptual realm, concepts form naturally with absolutely no requirement for the expenditure of any power source. you seem to be under the impression that i am suggesting that we use chuubanite the substance to create a physical realm to send the physical (metaphysical?) soul into a physical body that is capable of experiencing pain, where all of this actually exists, and only exists because of the chuubanite, thus requiring literally enough energy to create a pocket within space and time. artificial glyphs act as a dictionary of objects, they add additional forces to the natural interactions within the conceptual realm in order to encourage and maintain the formation of a concept. every artificial concept could just as easily be natural if it weren't for the fact that those concepts are not naturally correlated.
creating the concept of an afterlife, and connecting it with the concept of a person is not creating an actual afterlife, more like imagining a person being in an imaginary setting. it's an illusion of the senses, which requires far less energy, to the point where it's practically free as long as you can maintain the definitions that connect two concepts to each other. defining the concept of consciousness would be far more tricky, hence another reason why it would likely require a catalognaut who can communicate with the conceptual realm through the catalog more freely, but beyond that, you're expending about as much energy in creating the thing as you would spend fantasizing about some hypothetical place. in the conceptual realm, concepts are real things, but you don't need to spend energy creating the concept, it already exists, you just need to strengthen the connection between that concept and another to give their union more weight. keep in mind, the conceptual realm is part of the *everything* concept, every iteration of any concept that could possibly be conceived is already in existence somewhere, just not properly backed up to be considered a real connection.

>I don't see ressurection, as in True Ressurection, as being a possibility in this world
by resurrection, i mean literally bringing someone from a state of being "officially" dead to a state of being "officially alive. if your heart isn't beating, and you shock yourself with a defibulator, that is resurrection by this definition. i get being concerned about it being possible at this timeperiod, but thinking it shouldn't be possible at all indicates a failure in communication, else a severe lack of imagination. given >>41713346 is true, i suppose it could be either, but my money is on the former.

desu, and i don't mean to be offensive, but since this is the ord that has been going around in regards to this, i must admit that i do kind of view your response to what i said as being that of a "jackass", again, no offense. while it's true that i have said before that it is important to consider previous lore before involving others, doing your reps was only one suggestion i made. my primary suggestion in all instances involving other factions was to ask them before you wrote about them. as in "if you are going to write about someone, either collaborate with them, or at the very least do your reps". i don't recall a single instance where all i said was that they should do their reps. this criticism doesn't apply when one side has already done their reps, and can therefore advise you on how to properly interact with them. this is relevant because the other guy said it is impossible to write with (collaborate with) /meat/ because we have so much lore, but none of that lore is necessary for you to know as long as you are willing to actually collaborate. if you don't want to collaborate, then ya, do your reps, but it would be unreasonable to expect everyone to do that, which is why nobody expects people to have to unless they choose to take on that burden of their own volition.

no thread is just an image-posting thread, those images have a topic at hand, the core concept that defines the thread is the origin of the chuubanite's energy. all threads can have chuubanite, all threads are allowed to define their chuubanite abilities based on their interpretations of the core concepts of their threads, chuubanite is adaptable enough to offer any interaction to any thread, provided they take the time to work out how it works and how it relates to their thread. if any given thread does not benefit from chuubanite at any given time, it is wholefully a result of their decision not to benefit from chuubanite. i have repeatedly encouraged others to make use of this system, some do, but none as much as my thread, given the fact that that is the thread i represent. i have no jurisdiction over other threads unless they will take my suggestions, and many have, including retro, and he has benefited from it, along with the rest of the thread that chooses to make use of this system. first you guys blame me for trying to get everyone to use the magic system when they don't want to, now you blame me for not forcing everyone to use the magic system. make up your minds, please. is chuubanite a choice, or does /meat/ benefit too much from the system. it shouldn't matter if we were able to improve ourselves through chuubanite if we worked for it, this is like saying successful businesses are an affront to justice, and that everyone should therefore be poor.

that wasn't me, but whenever i say that people are arguing against canon to make things unreasonably more accessible to hypothetical future anons who are supposedly too lazy to bother collaborating with us, at the expense of those who have collaborated, and existed in the thread long enough to be able to create, i am told that nobody actually makes this argument. this isn't an argument, it's a fallacious failure of a virtue that deserves, whole heartedly, to be disregarded and spat on. if newfags refuse to collaborate and respect canon, we should not punish oldfags for the incoherent ideal of equality, it is not, nor will it ever be, an ideal worth pursuing. do not deny that you are arguing in favor of limiting real anons who exist in this thread right now under the false pretense that it somehow limits future anons who do not exist in this thread from being able to collaborate with us. cease this argument, it is a waste of time, and i am beyond tired of hearing it's likeness pollute the integrity and value of these threads. it is an abomination of reason, i will not stand for it.

the only reason it is optimized towards /meat/ is because /meat/ is the only thread who's culture i understand in enough detail to create such a complicated system around. i ask people to describe their threads, and they never know the right framework to view it in. it's always such a limited perspective that i have nothing to work off of, but if they just knew the right way to interpret it, there are by necessity an abundance of methods they could pick from in order to discover the central concept because all roads lead to that concept. it's just more accurate the more you are able to describe it. even threads with nothing but images posted all the time, with no interpersonal interaction what so ever, have a core concept based on which images the thread decides to post, so long as those images have a topic they revolve around, there is thread culture, which can lead us to the core concept.

So tell me if I'm on the right track, you're taking the concept of a person (catalognaut) and using complex glyphs or Hyper Glyphs in order to strengthen the ever present connectivity of the conceptual realm between that catalognaut and the concept of hell (conceptual construct) in order to build magic quanta enough to enforce a final will/revival onto the physical realm?
If I'm correct here, I think that'd probably inherently change the concept of the catalognaut in question, either in the process or once they're done wouldn't it? Even a meat head has to bend to the undiluted concept of suffering

>cease this argument, it is a waste of time, and i am beyond tired of hearing it's likeness pollute the integrity and value of these threads. it is an abomination of reason, i will not stand for it.
i don't want to bring up old timeloops, but this baseless, reasonless, thoughtless, and utterly valueless argument keeps being brought up, and no matter how often i try to explain why it shouldn't continue, it keeps getting made. i am beyond tired of hearing it, i don't get why it's so difficult to understand how utterly irredeemable this line of reasoning is. it holds no value and it should cease to exist, yet somehow, defying all logic, people still treat it as though it is even capable of being a worthwhile argument, or literally anything else besides a terrible, self-defeating societal disease.
>regarding how newfags get treated here as if they arent “real”.
i also don't get how this point could be so easy to misinterpret. it's one of those instances where i explicitly say something in clear english and have people interpret something that isn't even different enough from what i actually said to be linked through opposites, like black and white. what kind of insult is "you don't even exist" and do you honestly think i would stoop to such lows? no, i am saying the hypothetical future anon, who only exists in the future, is not present in the now, and is therefore imaginary. it's like taking offense to something because you could imagine someone else taking offense to it, but literally everything can be taken as offensive because offense is taken, not given, and so you'll end up stifling the opportunities of the people who actually, physically exist, and are present in the now. i'm saying the future isn't real, all that's real is now.
>>41726059
>in order to build magic quanta enough to enforce a final will/revival onto the physical realm?
what? no. i'm saying you could construct the concept of an afterlife within the conceptual realm by defining it's parameters, create conditions that change the way chuubanite interacts with the world by altering the definition of it's core concepts, and use chuubanite to revive someone, and that all of these separate, individual applications of chuubanite can be combined to enable someone to create a system similar to nen, including post-mortem nen. i'm replicating a separate magic system within my own, proving that this magic system is adaptable enough to enable people to do even that. it's a test in the versatility of the chuubanite system, i'm just using post-mortem nen as an example.
>Even a meat head has to bend to the undiluted concept of suffering
catalognauts are supposed to be, at least in part, physical manifestations of a concept which they embody, if i am not mistaken. also, we've already discussed this, transubstantiations don't cease to be transubstantiations if they change at all, so long as the change occurred after the connection was formed. the connection strengthens the existing ties, else they break, so if you represent a concept, you are influenced by that concept, and that concept is influenced by you. rather, it would be more accurate to describe the concept and you as becoming the same concept. a /meat/head would bend to the undiluted concept of suffering, just as the undiluted concept of suffering would bend to itself. that's actually part of the nature of suffering, if you recall any of my explanations of it from back when i was describing the life cycle and the deeper meanings behind it. it doesn't matter that the catalognaut changes, only that the way they change would be the same as how the concept itself would change, because if the catalognaut is a transubstantiation, the catalog is the concept, and the concept is the catalognaut. they become the same entity.

i said those were separate interactions. it's not in the context of revival, it's in the context of adding conditions to the core concept that enable it to be adaptable to environments. death can be a condition, and a certain procedure will be the result. if said procedure is naturally capable of reviving the individual (ie, bungee-gum restarting someone's heart when they die of heart-failure in hxh, not some magical revival from out of nowhere.) the resulting effect will be revival. it's not as though i am saying it would revive someone from literally any condition, in fact, i explicitly stated that you would have to know exactly how you would die, and take measures to specifically counter that form of death, and that if you were even slightly wrong in your estimation or application of said procedure, you'd be worse than dead.
the conditions are like taking an existing word, and adding a new context to view it from. certain words might not initially refer to certain ideas, but over time become synonymous with a new word that shares in some traits, but were not similar enough to be considered the same word until the definitions broadened to include each other. think about code words, or how the same sentence can change under different contexts and conditions, such as tones, or whether or not the situation calls for it. basically, this allows us to add artificial child concepts to existing concepts, it shouldn't have received the backlash it did if not for the fact that i worded it poorly, and that, being a /meat/head, i used /meat/ as the example, because what else would i use?
>>41729616
are you the first sapling? i think i recall talking to you some time after you came, you got annoyed at the fact that i wrote walls of text, but i gave you a few suggestions of how you could implement a few of your ideas regarding the evolution and diversification of your population. you took some of them, but didn't take others, and i somewhat found it annoying that some of the things you ended up doing didn't work well with the system we had at the time, but i think i recall discussing modifications to the system that would make your ideas make more sense without throwing the rest of the lore into conflict. i would have preferred it if you cooperated a bit more at the initial stages, though, but everything worked out in the end, and i hold no ill will towards you or anything. pretty sure once i started breaking up my comments a bit more, you started being more willing to cooperate, so i guess that worked out, too, somewhat. imagine if it turns out you weren't that sapling, and were someone else instead, lol.

You know how when you sit down in front of a screen and think you have everything planned out for the draft. And then you draw a complete blank on how to do it? Yeah that happened. Finding out that a friend's grandfather died didn't help either. I'm debating if I want to sleep on this or force myself through it. I'm used to making tabletop maps in feet not meters. Also while I thought I had a good idea for an Age of Exploration bakery maybe I should do more research.

There's also a minor detail on whether or not I should put the ovens in the north wall of the bakery or not due to strong cold north winds. Maybe the east or west walls can handle the ovens and not risk warping between extreme heat and cold. Also the location of the bakery will be on the outskirts of town due to fire risk and lower property value. So I doubt there will be many buildings to block the cold mountain winds.

Once I figure out the entrance and ovens everywhere else should fall into place.
