Trying to draw using a tablet to start is a fucking awful idea for a lot of reasons since if you have a general idea of what you want to draw, it's so much faster to sketch out the idea on paper first, so at least that when you go to draw it using a tablet you're not getting too trapped up in the "visualizing a sketch" stage which can be super easy to do for one reason or another when you're starting out; got the wrong brush, using the wrong line thickness, hyperfocusing on shit like errant pixels.
