So long as Hololive is relevant, Fubuki is relevant. Perhaps Sukonbu aren't as rabid as the Nousagi or something, but that really isn't a problem. Fubuki is perfectly fine and would want you to prioritize yourself over her, there is nothing to worry about on her behalf. Bigger fan following has nothing to do with goodness of streamer, assuming Mrs. Streamer is mentally stable.

You're right. The market is full of VTubers nowadays. If Cover does one thing right, then it's not flooding the market with more VTubers like other Corpos do. Anyway /vt/'s numbers aren't growing anymore. After they peaked in Summer 2022 they went down a bit again and a somewhat constant. It matches my subjective perception of how it goes. But I must admit, even some of the long running generals struggle more often due to lack of activity. Okfams struggled from the beginning, Bakatare used to be a Watame thread but I think Watamates wouldn't be able to maintain a thread alone. I don't know if people are just moving on for a new character to watch. I'm usually not looking at the numbers but it feels like every small general has about 10-15 posters that run the thread. I still love Fubuki

If an EOP is not madly in love with a vtuber for whatever reason, the chance they'll leave their oshi one day, for a "good enough" replacement speaking their language is very high, almost certain. The english vtuber market has grown large enough there is basically a replacement chuuba, who is "good enough" to most people for every JP chuuba out there.
/vt/sisters meme about it, but not every western youtuber is a crass, crude and/or gauche menhera mess. Some of 'em even qualify as legit GFE
Migration should be the norm and it's actually unusual chuubas like watame or fubuki still have devoted fans who do not speak the language (like me, but I'm getting better)

Sure, the FF14 streams get lower numbers, but if you look at the Pokemon streams, for example, she was almost always among the highest when several people were streaming it, even after her shiny hunts. Her numbers are usually eclipsed by the likes of Miko and Pekora, but they are an entirely different style of streamer with a different audience for the most part, so that is to be expected. But she can draw the same kind of numbers when she does something exceptional, it's just not something she does all that often. There is no need to doompost about anything, she is in a very comfortable position.

I actually think it might be the opposite for the Sukonbu und Nousagi thing. I think Fubuki has a very loyal core fanbase that watches her consistently no matter what she streams, but she gets far less "outside" viewers because her streaming style doesn't have as much main market appeal and she doesn't really do much to attract new people these days either. I don't have data to base this on, but I'd also imagine her audience skews slightly older. Her comment section is pretty much 90% members and most of them have long-term member badges. That is to be expected after almost 5 years, a lot of non-Sukonbu only come by to watch her when something exceptional is happening. People love seeing their idols grow over time so she will probably be less appealing for entirely new listeners just getting into the hobby.

It's actually a nice feeling to have grown besides and with Fubuki. Sure, my life isn't perfect, but at least by the regular metrics (frenship, employment, security, education) i'm at a better point than back when I fell in love with her.

It's similar for me, she also helped me by being there for me when I needed her the most and I am also at a comparatively much better place than before because she inspired me to keep going. Sadly, I have "only" been following her for a little less than 3 years and didn't get to experience her initial growth from newcomer to the number one spot, but I still feel like I grew with her a little. She definitely hasn't stopped growing yet, either, her recent self-doubt arc and her new conviction to get over it and be more proactive with what she wants to do and her long-term plans for the 2024 sololive shows she still has a long way to go, but that's not apparent to people that don't already watch her and think she is already "too perfect, thus boring".

That's a very demanding list as is, and I'm not about to swim through the ocean that is EN Vtubers that just might come close to what Fubuki is. Not only will it take time, but I'm also positive that there simply isn't one.
Fubuki has it all - the talent, the voice, the looks, the character. No other girl can compare, so looking for someone else is ultimately a waste of time.

I've noticed that Fubuki's Twitter used to be filled with English comments and sometimes Chinese, and now it's almost completely Japanese. Granted, many of the overseas Sukonbu are writing in kanji (I pay attention to the country of origin of superchats) but it's true that in general the English speaking audience has moved on to EN chuubas since the majority of people don't have the patience to learn a new language. Only the loyal ones have stayed which is probably why she's so comfortable with us.

For Fubuki, it feels like her viewer base is a little smaller but extremely loyal and watch everything, while Pekora's base is a little bigger but because her streams are so chaotic she gets a lot of casuals and new people that only come in for a couple of minutes.
On another note, the girls with the biggest English speaking audiences are probably Suisei, Haachama, Aki, Pekora, Rushia, Towa, Kanata, Watame, and Nene.

Definitely not Kanata, last time there were stats about her audience she had one of the lowest English speaking audience percentage wise. It's pretty old stats but there hasn't been any update on Kanata's end for this, one member which I know has a big Enlgish speaking audience is Subaru because she explicitly mentioned it in one of her streams.

Sort of similar for me, I am perpetually one expansion behind her, I'm at the early parts of Shadowbringers now. I am not all that sensitive to spoilers, so when she plays the main story, I still leave the stream running in the background at low volume and take the occasional glance. When she does side content like the Nier raid the other day or just grinds mounts, I watch the streams normally.

If I recall correctly she isn't much of a morning person herself so she wouldn't have a lot of energy yet. I can imagine her lazily pushing you on your back trying to get you to roll over, repeatedly saying to wake up and reminding you that today is important, likely resorting to attacking your sides and face with pokes and using her whole body weight to try to get you to move around. She'd just try to tease you awake really. She also might fall victim to the bed herself and end up lazily flopping down and falling back asleep as well.

She wouldn't need to try very hard on getting me awake as merely just opening the room to my door (or if she's sleeping with me, just slight movement of her own) is enough to wake me up. Getting me out of bed however is another matter but since I've a phobia on being touched (although I am trying to overcome it), all she'd have to do is say she'll threaten to tickle me all over, or use her whole body weight to lie on top of me and that is enough to get me out of my bed. I can't guarantee that she won't escape freely though. I might just tickle her back or use her as my bodypillow and fall back asleep as my bed is too comfy
