She COULD emulate as well, but there is the huge issue of leaks happening, such as the emu UI, or glitches in the emulator and other things that would only show in the emulator.
A strict CPU emulator and a simple translation layer emulator are wildly different. Now, admittedly the hardware is old as fuck, it'd be rather trivial to emulate the entire thing, exact timings and all, but it's not even worth the effort for the most dedicated autists, so even less likely for Bomu
