A singer's ability to connect with the audience is something you DON'T see often, sure, technique helps, but it's not what makes or breaks a singer.
Suisei can make people feel things when she sings powerful songs. Towa and kanata shine with belty and emotional singing even when their voices are so different. Azki and Gura shine with soft emotional singing.
Those things are more subjective than anything else, but it's the reason why people like their singing.
Your average listener will NOT judge them based on how steady their breath is or how many octave jumps they do.

She's not that good either with that imo. I'm not a music expert so I can't really explain much, but there's just this feeling of dissatisfaction from her singing. Let's talk about the TFT performance, I think that performance was 7/10 at most, the flow and tone dynamic felt rigid, and her high notes doesn't sounds nice. I feel like it's not perfectly hitting the right note, it felt slightly off, maybe because of her vocal characteristics Idk. Now that she's in TFT, you can't help to just compare her performance with other singers there. You can't tell me she perfor better than most of the ppl there. Lisa, Yuuri, Rei Yasuda, are clearly miles better. Heck even Harry styles performance in TFT is better imo. She just lack of that special spark those singers got. Not just in TFT, I listened to some of her karaoke and live singing and she never left me satisfied. Not that it's bad, it's good, but definitely not amazing most of the times.
