I hated that. It happened during the drunk stream too where he had to interrupt a conversation to ask if uki was okay. But I do think he needs his normal setup for comfortable work, so they probably did a bunch there, got things ready and what he can he will do once he's back. Sometimes, I wish the Luxiem boys were a little less popular... This isn't me saying I don't think they deserve to be, they absolutely do and I understand why they are - I wouldn't want them to be completely in the shitter - but it's a little over a year since their first anniversary, and they're already busy with AR stuff, along with the tons of other work they've been swamped with over the past year. And I'm happy for them, I truly am, they're reaching great heights and I'm proud of them for going so far. But, it's also been in such little time, and it's times like this, when they seem so busy with projects and workloads, that they weren't so big at the level they're at now. I want them to spend a little more time with us and have them doing their own things, before having to immediately worry about the big company-wide projects.

Sorry for my rambling, this whole trip has just been putting things into perspective for me, and has me looking back on the past year with them.

The fact that Vox described Ike, Shu, and Luca as being "worked to the bone," the management-mandated offcollab, the fact that some first anniversary projects had to be canned because they didn't have enough time due to their workload - even the fact that they're already doing work for an AR live, it's just too much in such a short amount of time, especially if you consider all the personal projects the boys wanna do and have been working on for months. With others members, like say Fulgur, he has less subscribers than other Noctyx members, and while he does get included in big events like those con panels, and has other projects going on, like his story, he still has plenty of time to himself to destress and stream for himself and his fans.

Meanwhile, with Luxiem, it's just one thing after another, and it's actively cutting into their streaming time and interactions with fans, and leading them to take frequent/longer breaks just to catch up on everything offline and destress.

I kinda felt this (ahahahha in Shu using to do 4h game times + 4h supa readings/zatsu), but at the same time I'm glad that luxiem is as popular as they are with the opportunities (cafe/game collabs, AR live, all the merch etc). As a yam I think I've gradually just accepted it, and since irl responsibilities do exist it's and it's hard for me to even finish a 3-4h vod. I appreciate the slowdown of their sun's growth though, we haven't even properly celebrated 500k yet with a stream. The big community is also pretty nice though with the amount of fanworks everytime there's a celebratory event (and also fanmixing covers from karaokes such that honestly I rather Shu do more karaokes since we get more mixed songs that way). I think they know and have been taking it slower, but there's also that mentality of fame being temporary too.
