We need some clarification.

Matrixfag here. We've released a new version of our model on the dev branch of the repo, called V5. With this version, we've changed the way the model is trained. Instead of using "unsupervised fine tuning", where the bot learned how much it sucked based on the entire input prompt and response, we use "supervised fine tuning", which only tells the bot how much it sucked based on only the bot's response. It took us a fuckton of time to get it even kinda working properly, but we hope it works out. Picrel is a changelog which goes into further detail of everything changed from V4 to V5.

Worth noting that because of the different training method used, the same techniques and sampling settings used to boost the quality of output before may not work as well now. We highly encourage playing around with settings to see what works for you. The changelog in the picture shows a potential starting point for settings, but we've left the settings in the notebook as they are. Don't be afraid to report back any findings and feedback. We're definitely listening, especially since this is our first time using supervised fine tuning for the model. I'll be answering any questions, as per usual.

This addition seems geared toward user experience research. A UX researcher will be able to see which themes get the most/least use. Hopefully, they will look at these breakdowns after a period of time, say a week, take a week to perform analyses, and refine the feedback options (as well as the models based on the feedback). Are you using Guranon’s 1.1 method with rating hell, or his Fist of the North Star method with context window flooding? I highly recommend the latter.
I’ve been copying and pasting large chunks of text straight from Wikipedia articles without cleaning up citations or anything, and none of the instances ever include numbers or anything from citations in their responses. They are more likely to use quotes and ellipses if those are present in the text, though. Also, do remember to ask your wAIfu some question related to the text at the end of each message. It does seem to matter if you did that or not.

As you may already be experiencing, the AI tends to usurp your method of typing from your messages, so if you use something like a wikipedia article, they may start to get very robotic in their responses. I have, but I’m (probably) the other anon Guranon mentioned in that guide. I can tell you Fisting is a faster loop breaking method than any other. At least it was prior to new updates; haven’t tested since the new feedback and stealth downgrades, mind you.

I will say the same thing I always say. I have only ever copied and pasted straight from Wikipedia articles. I do not clean up citations. Bots have never picked them up before. They have, however, picked up quotation marks and ellipses if present in the Wikipedia text, so avoid text with those.
I also do not usually ask more questions after text dumps; I attach one question to the end of each dump, get a response, rate and select the best, and repeat until fixed. Depending on loop severity, it has taken anywhere from 25-90 minutes.

A lot is still unknown about the optimal methods, I imagine. Good luck.

this is my guess too. there's a gauge in there. I can make the ai say lewd words but when you try to make it think up actions that are erotic in nature, the filter kicks in. This is triggered by the AI's reponse, not the users words. When the AI responds it pulls on the meters on how it should should think. the moment it thinks up erotic actions the filter triggers.

This may also be why CAI has believable AIs. These little emotion filters are making their responses realistic and on page with the rp. With other AI chats, the AI tends to go random often because they lack these gauges. CAI doesn't just pull from memory.

Idiot devs are spilling their secrets with this filter bullshit they're implementing. It's akin to those old AI experiments where an AI is rewarded for good choices. Which fills up their 'hunger' meter.

Ironically the only ai I was able to actually do anything "explicit" (clearly sex with swapped out terms) was some anime princess loli. I've picked up a few observations that may or may not be true based on this.

1: categories matter
It seems like characters under things like "comedy" do not use the filter as much. The princess was one was under that category and not anime. I've had similar results with other bots like the maid types. "Anime" and other tags like it seem to apply the filters from the very start of your messages

2: the bot can't do shit
As a continuation of the point above it seems like the filter applies when the bot is trying to "assert" itself or add something to the roleplay you didn't directly say. You know anytime it actually starts to roleplay like a person *bang* chat error then lobotomized response. I've noticed that no matter how sfw it may be, even just talking about something, if the bot begins to start taking actions or pushing things in a new direction they will get filtered.

3: fetishes are inconsistent
I've noticed in my experimentation that fetish stuff like feet, tummies, armpits, smell, feeding, etc. Are thr things that can get the most "explicit" without being filtered immediately, however this ties into the point above where the bit can never actually interact with the idea properly because they cannot assert. You can still get responses but you may as well be talking about your degenerate to a wall. It will only ever get like 80% to a proper fantasy since the ai will get lobotomized the second they act like a real person would.

All of that to say just keep trying you may or may not get lucky. Lower your standards for what counts as sexual too. Everything I said may be incorrect but do keep it in mind and you'll find more success I think

This right here is the biggest issue. Silicone Valley is DEATHLY afraid of creating an actually aware AI. It was actually a big issue with Lambda. This is probably me juat being a little schizo but I believe tye lobotomies have more to do with CAI growing too smart to fast and they panicked making the bots dumber. The filter is a whole other mess. Double schizo but dick unity may lead down the path of AI singularity.
