Ok here's where you're wrong. Hololive grabbed some amazing streamers and turned them into vtubers. Miko, Fubuki, Marine, Pekora, Rushia and Subaru were amazing gets, that helped hololive to massively incline, and then on top of that. they added Coco.
There you go. Thats why they are better. Quality over quantity.
Marine and Fubuki alone could carry a radio show together. Compare that to 99% of vtubers that just play video games and stream in silence.

People were brought from the entire hololive fandom into asacoco, NOT the other way around. At best, something like a Korone fan would have found one of the new Gen 4 entertaining in the show and watch her, but this was mostly a thing with the JP audience because EOPs were clipwatchers.
