The only issue I see with Hololive's longevity is that they're very talent driven rather than corpo driven. It's evidenced by the fact that people here call the main Hololive channel a debuff. Hololive is still much stronger than Niji is globally, but I could see issues arising if top streamers end up taking hiatuses or graduating. Niji doesn't have this problem nearly as much because most of their viewers will shovel whatever shit is in front of them. By constantly collabing, plastering Niji logos everywhere, and holding massive events where many people's oshi gets to participate, Niji is effectively boosting their own brand trust in the eyes of the viewers and are more likely to retain viewers even if their oshi graduates. On the other hand, Hololive doesn't put on events at the same scale and frequency as Niji and chuubas often do more solo content. This is good for the streamer, but bad for the overall company, because the chuuba is creating a far deeper connection with you than the corpo.
