Interesting take. I'd be curious to think why you think he's bad. From what I've listened to, he has relative pitch and can utilize his range. It's true that being a tenor doesn't automatically make you a good singer or being a baritone makes you a worse singer. Brendon Urie for example is a baritone and Ryan Tedder is a tenor. Comparing the two is difficult since, obviously, everyone has different tastes. However, both singers have good relative pitch and Ryan Tedder has better range. In this case, I would say that Ryan Tedder is a more effective singer in his demographic than Brendon Urie, not accounting you taste in voice.
What about his technique or timbre are off to you? Timbre is something you can obviously change by choosing to be more breathy or nasally or round. This is a matter of preference of too however. Many people do not like the timbre of David Grohl, but to discount his singing ability would be foolish.

Try listening to her rendition of Defying Gravity or Glimpse of Us. The latter of which impressed me quite a bit as she was able to transition smoothly from chest to head voice, all while maintaining good pitch and vibrato. Her enunciation of words is very good there, and she elides seamlessly where appropriate (e.g. from the lyrics "said I moved on" and "here passing time in her arms" in the chorus), which is always a joy to hear on descending triplet scales.

Man I miss when EN can regularly break 10k, both Holo and Niji. Nowadays it took collab or gimmick stream for them to break 10k
