I think this has to do with new HoloEN gen. Maybe some people they picked simply got tired of waiting and went to another corp, or some other shady shit happened like not being able to find talents that meet their criteria (whatever that is), so management basically told her "no new gen for another 6 months at least." It's up for debate whether (planned) Tempus2 debut was the thing that caused that, or was it merely a consequence of something else. I think that Kiara, arguably the most extroverted person in EN, really wants more non-JP members to interact with and that notice hit her hard.

Permission fuckup seems most likely. Maybe a change to some streaming rule as others suggested. Could also just be a delay of some project.

Spring now also seems most like the most probably time for a new Gen to debut but I don't know what would be unfortunate about it, that Kiara could talk about. If there was a delay because somebody jumped off, it's certainly not something she could ever mention publicly. Same if they intend to use some dumb new strategy for debuting new Gens, or if Kiara were unhappy about Tempus2. If there was a delay caused by some external event, maybe, but then how does that relate to Cover at all, if it's something outside their control.

Or it could indeed be something on the corporate level, I guess. A buyout seems somewhat unlikely but I suppose is possible, though I doubt they would tell their talents months ahead of time.

The one thing I learnt about her is that she desperately needs a boyfriend or a best friend to whom she can share stuff. She is that type of person who can't bottle up secrets, emotions , concerns and ideas. So she uses her chat as her boyfriend and shares almost everything with them.
Even when she was sick, she streamed because she was lonely and needed the comfort from chat (nobody is at home to look after her). You can even see this clearly from her twitter posts. She even shares her food pics and shares extra info and pics on her RM account. Even when she takes a vacation, I don't think she streams for the tax write-offs but she streams because she NEEDS to share her experiences with somebody and that somebody is KFP.
In the end, she is in a more parasocial relationship than her fanbase.

I think 1 or 2 EU members got in and they were ready to debut, but Cover wanted them to stream in the middle of the night, so they declined at the last minute and Cover needed to hire new members to fill up the slots. That's why Tempus 2 got moved up to this month and EN3 drops in spring, hopefully, with 5 members.
