Maybe she'll feel better after her break and come back. Maybe this is all a negotiation tactic and EN management will give her some concessions now that their new gen of bois is a flop. Or maybe she's unhappy, not feeling well, and will just graduate.
If she does graduate I think she'll skip the fanfare and not do a Coco style victory tour. I think she'll be back, though.

Genuinely, I think Gura’s on hiatus because she doesn’t know either. If I had to speculate, a combination of “HoloEN hasn’t panned out even remotely like I expected” with “even if I did bother trying to stream again, can I trust myself to not get burned out a month later?” and “Is there some way for me to actually get what I wanted out of vtubing if even THE corpo for idolshit won’t bite?”
If I had more hopium, I’d almost suspect that Gura has at least thought about defecting to a small corpo once or twice before reminding herself of the mountain of risks that entails. I’m sure she’s not going to, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the thought’s popped up in her head at some point.

Make as much money as she can until the wheels fall off, and then either go back to her other thing or use what money she has to persue something more rewarding than streaming for lonely virgins
