I’ve seen one or two yume pieces floating around, but no wife doesn’t get a lot of yume art. I think one reason would be he basically said he didn’t want any. The whole “no parasocial because bad” thing he had going on in the beginning told potential yume artists he didn’t want any of that.

Wife is forced to stay in one of the karaoke rooms and give his clients a "special service" when he was serving the drinks. They only let wife go when they have all come at least 3 or 4 times in and on wife.

Customers take photos to make sure wife doesn't talk and come back from time to time to enjoy the "special services" again and again, the rumor of a slutty worker spreads fast and more customers go to karaoke and specifically ask for wife to "attend" them. Thanks to that, Noctyx is very well positioned and that causes wife to refuse to ask for help even more. In addition, he has realized that, in fact, he likes to give this type of customer service and does not want it to end. It is beneficial for Noctyx, and both the clients and wife are happy, so he's special service is extended for the duration of the entire collaboration.

i've spun the entire backstory out when the brainworm consumed me the other day and because i was inspired by the true experience of a musician i follow. back when vox was a newcomer he was the secondary character in a movie where fuuchan was the protagonist, that's where they met and fuuchan acted as kind of a mentor figure for vox. fulgur's a bit standoffish at first, people's first impression of him is that he's a cold person, but he takes care of his kouhais and he respects talent when he sees it, and he saw vox's potential right away. maybe it was at the audition he sat in on, fulgur vouched for vox and even threatened to quit if they didn't choose him instead of the nepotism hire (kek) they had in mind or something. the movie is a hit and both fulgur and vox win awards for it. their overwhelming success angers the guy vox replaced and with his sponsor's backing he gets fulgur essentially chased out of the industry (it's a bit more complicated than that), at this point vox is already pretty much untouchable because of how popular he is. fulgur doesn't take sponsorships so he's an easier target.

vox never forgot fulgur and berated himself for not being powerful enough at the time to protect him, and for being too young to realize what was going on before it was too late. his dream was always to direct movies, not star in them, so when he finally gets the opportunity to make his dream come true, he finds fulgur and asks him to play his main character, fulgur was his muse after all. he doesn't expect to get rejected to his face and wonders if fuuchan hates him now. reality is fulgur has no interest in returning to that world where money dictates too many things, he'd rather stick to his stages and sparse but dedicated audience, if he can continue to act then it doesn't matter where. despite not having much financial backing, he had connections and was well-respected, back then if he wanted to stay he'd have the means to clear his name on his own, but he didn't bother doing it.

i don't know where this is going if it even goes anywhere. i want ike to be a scriptwriter in this, or the novelist whose work is being adapted. somehow he acts as a kind of bridge between the two

and ike like a sort of tether between the two (for the purpose of this scenario he's secure in the pursuit of his own passion and is actually the most well-adjusted out of the three. mentally that is, physically he's still a mess), the third party with a clearer view of the situation and the two stubborn men caught within it, weighing their love for each other against the pride they take in their craft. they don't even realize it's love yet, the burn is slower than incense. maybe give vox an unrequited puppy crush on ike for further drama and heart squeezes
