So here is the thing: when you see the screenshots, everyone was shitting on Lumi. The narrative of "Menace as the mastermind" is something they came up with since the leaks on their collabcord, but they never had proof it was even her, just speculation.
Later on it was revealed it was Misaki who had been stirring the pot all along against Lumi because of manager rivalry, and Menace, Lumi and Yuri shitted on her on stream.
Further down the road the other manager was revealed to be a schizo who was even doxing menace behind her back
The ex Mods of Lumi, now two cycles out of the loop after being left behind, are still sticking to "Menace as the villian" plot which is the view they promote here.

Objectively speaking, Menace doesn't have the authority to lead a coup against Lumi, but the other two managers had, so they are better suspects. It is in this light quite likely Menace was the scapegoat in all cases, she was part of the shitting for sure, the proof is undeniable, but most likely she wasn't the head of it all. This mattered little anyway, the real reason behind the tensions between Lumi and Menace were GFE vs Non GFE philosophies, and it was all for naught: Menace dropped her act after feeling betrayed, and Lumi now panders to unicorns saying she wont collab with men.

I've really been getting the feeling lately that I'm one of the few people that's here because they actually like vtubing and vtubers and they want to foster a decent community. The schizoing, shitposting, fake drama etc. was genuinely so bad this morning I had to close the thread for a good hour or two. It's not as bad right now but it feels like any given moment things will just derail into more bullshit because that's what people actually care about here.
I'm gonna keep doing the things I want to do, the things I want to believe contribute to this thread instead of making it worse, but I really feel like I'm wasting my time lately. And I get that's what the schizos and the shitposters want, wear people like me down until there's nothing left and then just destroy another thread because none of this matters to them. The only thing that keeps me from leaving is that I know it's just menhera, that a good chunk of you are still good people even if you aren't as active or get drowned out by all the garbage that I can't avoid sometimes.
