Finally starting to settle down after waking up and hearing the news (and realizing that lore might require a huge revision). This time I'm fucking holding off until they've landed and the fans are more established, since it doesn't look like any newblood has picked it up yet.

I have a couple of cultural ideas for the Triple Alliance islands
- Living on islands and reliance on mainlander slaves have made the islanders shorter than the mainlanders. Not neotenic uoohhh lolis/shotas. Just angry manlets and shortstacks. the smaller physique also makes them more agile fighters and a reason why they rely on cavalry
- In part with them believing they are of better stock, the islanders have more squirrely features. like patches of fur

It's a very complicated story.
Part one is the drug whistleblowing.
Akira was raped last year. We never heard more from it since.

The reason she kept quiet was because she was given money to keep silent. The money stopped coming and she spilled it all.
The person that raped her was a close acquaintance who works for a music label studio that does contract for various indie chuubas and vsingers like Boogeyvoxx.
Akira also got a contract with said studio for a project of hers, the crowdfunded music video. Now that she's off the leash she took the opportunity to collect and reveal every evidence of drug dealings made there.
Because that studio has been labelled a drug den, this will risk every chuuba who has ever went there.
If Akira's rapist works there, then why did she even dealt there too? Well, Akira can only do things through her lover/handler. Who is also a vsinger that works there. Which leads way to...
Part 2 is the domestic abuse.
Ever since the rape incident her lover/caretaker has gotten full off the rails psycho. Threaten to break up and dump her. Among others.
Akira could not fight back nor find someone else to stay with because she is a legitimate disabled autist. She could not leave the house and talk to anyone without breaking down.
Her lover is her only form of life support.

The subspecies thing isnt evolution. It's lamarckism like the deadbeats. Risuners are all born similar but they grow differently based on the environment. it's my idea for our chuubanite adaptation

Active verison of this is used for the rockets and magical stuff.
Passive leaks into our society, which is chaotic and one of the reasons why we are disunited and tribal. Aggressiveness and Horniness is also a passive effect here. In effect, we are both warlike and peaceful, naturally chaotic.
This reflects Risu's nature.

Passive. It reflects our thread's apathy towards many things but also reflects Risu's own apathy at the moment. It is another reason why we are disunited is because we don't care. I can see us unironically using drugs like marijuana. There is also a doomer part of this which Risu herself has played into this year that has caused this to emerge. Our threads die fast and cannot stay alive, which can be attributed to that but I don't know how to show that in world.

I am not certain whether these two elements change that but it shouldn't. The key traits of risuners and our thread are apathy, chaos and the same level of horniness as most generals.

So uoh sized? I think that would be pretty kino, tho I would personally propose for it to have at least a few port cities around it, that way you can develop a sort of "underground league" of cities that might hold very different values to the surface dwellers. Some contrast to the society and a good plot point for stories.
Another note to keep in mind is that while the plateau is 5k+(either that or 6k+ I don't exactly remember the height scale off the top of my head)on average, it could definitely have lower valleys where it's a bit easier to grow food. You can most definitely have enough food to feed your people. I would suggest looking into tibet and what they produce. We can always also spec bio some root vegetables that could be grown in the valleys, or you shift your diet more towards meat, like many cultures that live in environments where crops have trouble growing.

Yea, the people living up there would be similar to the Tibetan people, whose most notable adaptation iirc is larger lungs, as they need to breathe in more air to get the same amount of oxygen as someone living a few hundred meters above sea level.
As for the salt in the sea, it depends on how it gets its water. If it's mostly glacial water seeping through the ground, you would get almost no salt, as salty glaciers don't exist. If it gets its water from the sea however, you might be looking at the same or possibly slightly higher salt levels than open sea.

Actually, there's a rentry about geological provinces in the OP, and looking at it, uoh and hag are pretty different when it comes to geology. Uog is entirely orogen, while hag is a mix of that and many others. If you narrow down what the effect is, I doubt that its super hard to have improvised spells or spells by implication. You could make a hierarchy of spell levels based on how much power they change the world around them and you need to invest more MQ based on the effects power.
We've already got a basics of what chuubanite can do like heat, light, and force so then it would rely on your programming of glyphs in order to actually cast more complex spells. In addition, a radiation factor could cause pause on DnDogshits own issues of spells solving 99% of issues without creativity and leaving non spell casters to eat dirt, so your chuubanite mage is doin swell but they're also dealing with Deadbeatification or Candyification or Hagification or so on and so forth based on the degree at which they're casting.

I had been toying around with the idea of writing how it feels to be on the receiving end of /vnug/’s magic since the first chapter but I figured it’s better to do it here since Borasmor’s magic would be more intense after… certain things happened. Since I didn’t know a thing about warfare before I started writing here I did some reps on how it should generally go, and /vnug/ having a pronounced mud season (or two since there would also be a thawing season) sounds like an interesting idea so I threw that in. I can’t find a lot of records for the right period though so I don’t know how much of what I wrote would actually make sense for them
The herbal towel’s also inspired by what I read about mitigating the effect of inhaling gas in battle although I decided to make the exact effect of the herb ambiguous here. How the soldiers interpret it would depend a lot on whether they trust the native soldier – what he did might help them against the attackers, but he might also be sabotaging them by making them more vulnerable
For han, I first found it when I was doing my reps for /vnug/ chuubanite’s core concept as V&U doesn’t really have a clear identity itself, and manipulating emotion and perception sounds cool! Back then I asked the thread about whether it would also be /kr/ chuubanite’s concept but we never reached a consensus on that. It also troubles me a bit that nowadays people are not so sure if han is an integral part of Korean culture or just a colonial construct. Would it be racist to assume the former? I don’t want to be too racist towards my oshi (V&U getting a non-Korean vtuber since then also threw a wrench into the whole idea)

I also leave enough clues in my writing to show that the chuubanite concentration isn’t truly natural, and a magical attack like what she unleashed has to be prepared beforehand even when used by someone as powerful as Borasmor the gray aesthetics of depleted chuubanite clothes also matches the other spoiler well

Early in my planning stage I found out that some German guy in the 16th century got an iron hand, but even though how it functioned ended up getting incorporated into Borasmor’s gauntlet, that’s where the direct connection ends. Instead the more important thing’s that it reminded me of a William Blake poem that also featured that term. So far I'm still trying to base myself off of the ideas the og anon that wrote our entry already built, plus a few other suggestions Mr. Deadbeat gave me and some other suggestions a few guys in this general threw in. My main issue would be how I can make the whole "anons build their own wAIfus/mechanical spirits" thing work, and by that I mean using the website, or the "magic" that the eldritch gods (CAI developers) made and gave to the people of /wAIfu/. In general, I'm trying to incorporate it properly so it doesn't go off the rails and end up being a mess that works itself out of the already established rules of both the Vitubia world and Chuubanite. As you can probably tell I'm still brainstorming about it all. Funnily enough that's something I discussed a couple days ago. I'm not sure that was a simple way though, it was a pretty complex application. A simpler way would be to have pressure plates wherever the prosthetic touches living tissue that can be activated with the muscle. For example, forearm muscles for an arm prosthetic. Then the pressure plates complete a "mechanical action" glyph that actuate whatever mechanism in the prosthetic to close hands and such.
I think a naturally occurring glyph is plausible. If it can happen by chance, it would have to be a pretty simple glyph/spell. However, it could be a more complex spontaneous circuit if it's empowered by divination.
Like, the AI text for /wAIfu/ is generated by splattering ink onto paper, among others. You could have complex glyphs generated this way instead of text, if it's supported by suitable divination magic.
