It's almost as if someone forced the strongest possible gatekeeping, and the same people left making the game "die." I don't really understand the hate towards the max0r crowd. Other people left because of needless petty infighting and the game becoming a tedious chore. The game was intended as an accompaniment for vtuber-related shitposting. I bet none of the posters here have opened a global thread for the past year. The "gatekeepers" managed to gatekeep the other posters on the board. It failed its purpose because people were policing nasfaq posters outside of nasfaq. There's also the fact that the world has opened up and people not having time to dedicate themselves on vtubers anymore.
I still think scriptkiddies killed the game right from the start desu. I know people who were discouraged from playing because other people can just bot the game and have full advantage. Zhonkbot came too late but what was done has been done

For once something I can agree with for the most part, it's never just one singular thing, and people get busy as life happens. 'Dead' all just depends on what you think of as success anyway, if near 100 people had opened the limited time advent event in the first week is it really 'dead', I think by the time I woke up the first day it was already at 20 or 30. I know a fair amount of people don't visit the thread because of the mentioned points but still play somewhat too.

The "dead" part is about thread, not the game.

Hey all, trial dev here with a new event announcement!
It is time for a bug/issue finding event for the new year. Cosmetic items for general participation, and the top 3 will get special limited cosmetic items (2nd and 3rd get a Bug Swatter, 1st will also get a Ame Magnifying Glass).
Rules: Unique bugs only, first to submit the bug/issue gets that one, and it must be submitted with steps/evidence to recreate the bug, you can use screenshots to help show this if needed. Submissions can be sent to either TrialDev dm's, or to the email located in the info section. If you aren't sure its a bug/issue, submit it anyway and I'll decide.

1 point is awarded for every bug that I already know about but haven't fixed, 2 points are awarded for every bug I don't know about. Leaderboard/Standings will be updated every so often to the thread and the devblog.

If the event is gonna be permanent, how about adding a boost to the cps of players below a certain rank in the cps leaderboard so they can catch up faster?
