I'm glad she reached out to Reine a long while back. ID seems to really be closer to the base that is the JP branch, going out and doing collabs somewhat frequently, debuting new gens every yearish, and having the ability to do shit like offcollabing really makes it work. That's kind of why I've come back around on Mori. She's been trying to make any kind of connection a lot more frequently and I can respect that she's toned down her personal life and put her vtuber shit as a bigger priority.

Gen unity isn't important, but there's still a lot of fun to be had by being comminicative with your coworkers and planning small events for fans. And when I say small events, I just mean a group collab here and there. Just look at Reine/ID for an example. Reine brought up doing a Mario Kart practice stream, shot out the question to her branchmates, and got 4 yes's almost immediatly. Contrast that to what we hear about Kiara trying to put things together with her branchmates.
I know timezones are an issue, but is it really that hard for them to wake up earlier in the day or Kiara to go to sleep later at night once or twice a month?

Parts of HoloJP and most of HoloID are full-time entertainers while everyone in EN besides Kiara is a part-time streamer.
Just look at the end of today's stream; it was the first chance of a TakaMori off-collab in like half a year. If the roles were reversed there is no way Kiara would go to bed instead of, like, doing something fun and entertaining for the viewers even if those viewers would mostly not be her own.
I'm not mad at Mori for that just a bit sad for Kiara. She applied to Hololive after watching Pekora and Fubuki but HoloEN turned out very different from that.

Nah you guys are way off, the issue is simply the rate gens are coming out and the lack of management content. There being a fall off in full gen collabs, streaming hours and content in general is the norm. Usually a few stay fairly active while others become part time. Management content means they still have to appear in stuff so the sense of them being gone is not as strong. But on top of that new waves come in, fill the gap and create new friendship groups. This not only lets talent find new dynamics but can drag members into doing more content.

If we were at gen 3 looking towards the prospect of gen 4 right now this wouldn't be an issue. More girls, with a focus on different content, in more locations and different sleep schedules. I don't even blame the boys for this, they should be releasing both each year.
