Can be set for single player. Singleplayer gives you a robot ally who can do a lot of things a human player can do while also being able to fly to hit hard to hit minerals you'd usually need a human to help use abilities to get to (like Engineer platforms) while also being capable in combat and able to revive you. It does everything you'd want except deposit eggs and collect secondary objectives.

Do hope she does the tutorial though.
