I'm watching a Doppio vod and while his rigging is very expressive, something seems off with the mouth tracking/rigging. It seems to interpret a lot of his "m" type sounds as a frown and it takes a second to animate back to speaking/opening motions, which then makes it seem almost like there's a delay. (not nitpicking, I just find rigging mechanics and issues very interesting)

Because your lineart and proportions are so solid, I think you should work on painting exercises - pick a photo reference with a full value range and don't use any lineart/outlines, instead painting the rough shapes and shadows, refining and rendering through more precise shading and shaping (no lines!). Things like noses and lips become much easier to sketch when you're very familiar with how shapes and shadows imply their structure. (you probably already have experience with this so my suggestion is mostly "do lots! Do more!" lol)
