I found her as Ames, had no idea it was mel. Of course I knew about the fart/burp vtuber because her compilations had been posted on discord before.
I liked the cat model and I thought Ames was fun, she had a sort of relatable doomer vibe, she seemed very honest and straight forward but tried her best to be friendly to her chat and was actually invested in her games and shared interesting stories. She did an insane Elden Ring endurance streams weekend, basically streamed the for 3 days straight from the moment she woke up to the moment she went to bed I'd tune in and she was live the whole day it was fun.
She did burp a few times but it wasn't too on the nose, I just found it funny.
I don't remember exactly how many views she got but it might have been around 40, which is quite decent for a no name indie.
She managed to last as "Ames" quite a while and I enjoyed my time watching her.
She had a breakdown crying stream and her 4chan interaction streams, those were very fun and enjoyable.
Honestly at this point I thought she had potential.
It was clear she was a liar tho, she made up a story about 4chan hacking her bank and someone attacking her irl and posted them on twitlongers she later deleted, they seemed very fake.
One day she just sort of disappeared entirely and I thought that was the last I'd see of her.
But later I found a thread about her new character so I was able to watch her again but she actually quit again. And she repeated that so many times I lost count.
At this point her CCV is at around 3 to 10 and she either plays quietly or she's complaining non stop. She's no fun to watch anymore.
Her obsession with Nijisanji was tiresome. I don't think even a small corpo would take her.
I don't fully agree with people saying she doesn't have what it takes to be a streamer, I think she has potential to be entertaining but lacks one important thing.
