I mean, the mechanics themselves do not do a whole lot to represent the holos themselves. A few are exceptions, like Kanata's focus is about just swinging with a fuckton of SOUL which is the game's version of damage. Noel and Flare have quite a few cards that interact with one another, and a lot of Watame's cards are very supportive.

Mio/Fubuki unfortunately don't have any cards that reference one another. I'm hoping that if Hololive gets another set of support, which might have decent chances since the two sets that came out for it did really well commercially, we will get more cards that let the holo's uniquely shine better.

If I drink enough I could. It's kinda hard to do that with weiss since it lacks like, big dick finisher cards and almost any damage can be canceled in theory. If the kanata/coco deck I made actually works, I could do that there since it just revolves around boosting SOUL and using their retard strength to slap you dead. Buddyfight is a game we play that better lends itself to being autisically chunii since one of its mechanics is literally hitting your opponent with an over the top named and illustrated finishing move that needs specific setup conditions, but it will 9/10 kill your opponent.

I had an idea for a personal project where the mc travels the world turning creatures into cards, similar to lost kingdoms, and even came up with a decent set of rules for the game. I played a lot of Runeterra, and that mana system (you gain one every single turn, you can save up to 3 excess mana but that mana can only be used to cast spells) is by far the best

this card is ran on an archetype that plays around 6+ cost spells since the champion Jayce benefits from them (he levels up from them and then he can duplicate them once per turn)
you pass the first two turns, which nets you 3 spell mana, then you cast this on turn 3. This card gives you 2 3/3 vanilla units. keep in mind that Runeterra doesnt have a lot of ways to cheat creatures, so this type of cards might seem underpowered but they are actually pretty nice

Kanata's card in the extra booster gives her +50 soul when she enters the stage. A deck can only have 50 cards, and when you attack, after your own trigger check, you opponent turns over the top card of their deck equal to the amount of soul being used, OR until they reveal a climax card, which there are only 8 of in a deck, and then the damage in canceled.

This card will get canceled almost every time, but it will be fun to make my opponents possibly mill themselves. When your deck runs out you also just reshuffle your waiting room (discard) as your deck again and you take ONE damage.

Neither. It's actually an easy game to learn in practice. I was able to pick it up and beat my buddy who taught me a couple times with the NePoLaBo deck we made.

If you know any other games by Bushiroad that would be a better comparison since a lot of stuff they iterated into their later games are present in an almost infancy stage in Weiss.

Yeah, something like that is probably the best method for someone who isn't autistically deep into a card game system since by design shit doesn't escalate as much or as hard as ygo/legacy magic, even if the 'history' those gamelines have could be good fodder for archteypes to mine.
