maybe I misunderstood why people watch vtubers, but it being ai is a complete dealbreaker for me. I watch vtubers with the understanding that the person behind the avatar has passion and love for what she is doing. She may go through hardships and struggles, but in the end they are trying their best to be an idol, singer, comedian, entertainer, etc. It's why I'm a heimin. The struggle, effort, and love for being a singer/idol that someone like Kanata puts in cannot be replicated by an ai. While vtubers may play characters and do gags using their models they all have a very human element talking about their real life. It's just not the same at all.
