Overall I don't hate it. I don't hate it at all, and I appreciate that it came out in spite of such a huge team. That suggests a very high degree of managerial skill on Lumi's part. Cool idea. Not exactly sure how she's going to use it long term but it's an interesting toggle.

I like the face too. It took an hour or two to get used to it but when she put the models side by side there are a lot of improvements. I don't love the fangs but they don't bother me as much as it seems to bother others. I think I might like the old eyes better but the new ones are nice in their own way. There are a few things about the old model I will miss but I would say it's 3 steps forward and 1 step back.

See, twitter isn’t actually going to fall unless Elon does actually expand the character count. For long form text, Tumblr and Facebook both do it better. Tik-Tok took off by being the twitter of video apps, and twitter took off by being a leader on the intentionally fast consumption mass social media market.
Really, I think Tumbr will take over if they allow porn again, and twitter tries to do long form text. The greater customizability of each account works better for creating an identity there. Facebook is just horrible for searches, and represses non-payers too much.
