Considering the setup time for each song, changing the scene settings, tracking each character, choreography, camera runs, etc. I would be surprised if it isn't at least partially (if not completely) prerecorded.
It's not like they're reacting to any outside input so we could not know. Perhaps in the future (using virtual reality) there will be a possibility to insert audience somehow. But even that would allow in asshats that would of course try to ruin it for others.
