Alright, let's figure this out.
First and to get it out of the way, I think you can perfectly be a rival of Moriji (another one for the pile) and a powerful navy.
Now, as others mentioned, the Moriji navy is moderated by a series of factors which result in it not being able to concentrate its power in all but the most dire of circumstances.
-Moriji does not have a centralized leadership. Politically, it is divided among dozens of municipalities who rarely work together. Militarily, the Black Fleet is led by an Admiralty where the highest authority, the Admiral, has the freedom to pursue the objectives he wishes, and must convince other Admirals to join them in ventures. Most of the time, the Admirals prefer to focus on their own priorities and bicker with the other ones instead of uniting behind a single cause.
-Because the entire board hates Mori and Deadbeats, at any given time, Moriji is at war with multiple of... Sheesh, let's count them up.

So, if /~ehe/ wants to have a navy equal to Moriji's, I think you should think of ways to balance out and justify the raw power of said navy, because a navy of this size without moderating factors would be geopolitically disruptive OOC, and because in-character, a powerful navy needs a reason to exist.
I think you could also consider having the navy be locally powerful instead of being the long chuni arms of justice. A smaller force applied to a smaller area can do more damage. Whichever you want to do, I can help you hash out our rivalry and how your navy work.

Relations with Infinitopia

The relationship between the Republic and the Theocracy of Infinitopia is a complicated tale. These two countries share a similar origin, the result of the great migration spurred by the birth of the group of Gods known as "Council". But just a mere mention of the name Infinitopia would visibly revolt most people in the Republic. Their relationship can be best summed up as a rivalry and traditional, mutual hatred.

This rift in bilateral relations likely originated even before the Theocracy was established. It is said that the "Takeshis", the ancestors of the Kronies currently living on the Island of Infinitum were extra-terrestrials. What really set the two countries onto a path of almost direct confrontation was the result of irregular sea-borne raids conducted by Kronies on the Republic. Continuing into the present day, albeit less frequently, these raids originated from the aforementioned tension and what can best described as nationality sentiment within Infinitopia. As time goes on political and religious factions of the Island also used it to their advantage, pillaging for influence and their ideological needs. Infinitopia's infamous concentration of "naturalized" Schizos helped maintain this "tradition", whether doing so in the name of a faction, or with their own Warband. Times when the Nameless One and the Lady of Time are broadcasting from the heavenly realm, are when raiding activities are the most intense.

The inability of the Island's government to address the various grievances of the people of the Republic has ultimately contributed to a feeling of cold indifference or even seething hatred for the Clock People on the frigid Island of Infinitum. Understanding the root of this rift between the supposed sister nations, not only gives much-needed context for Republican schadenfreude towards Infinitopia's crises, but also the foreign policy and outlook for much of the Republic's history.

Went back and refreshed my memory. The /inf/ history rentry just say that they started rounding schizos up after the "block age". However that's also written before we have any real lore on schizos and the heavenly realm. I think from /inf/'s lore it also doesn't explain and represent how the supposed schizos still have contact with the outside world. I remember there were still a decent bit of complaints to Kronii's schedule and stuff after November. /inf/ is also infamous for their schizos even before July this year. I've changed it to simply schizos. By "naturalized schizos" I meant schizos ("real" ones affected by rrats) who are not in prison for whatever reason, or those who got out but still continued their schtick.
Would welcome other inputs, especially from people who actually used /inf/ .
