The manga ended last year and finally has a conclusion to the Negima-verse.

I still think it's hilarious how at odds Akamatsu Ken is with his publishers at all times. Did Love Hina, extremely popular romance manga. For his next work he wanted to a battle manga, but his publishers wouldn't allow it so he created Negima as a romance manga and then slowly transitioned it into a battle manga over hundreds of chapters. And then he got pissed off with his publishers again, so the ending got fucked.

Then he did UQ Holder as a sequel to Negima, which almost didn't finish because despite switching publishers he was still at odds with them.
