I have been asked this question by streamers a lot. Sometimes I answer with basic shit like what I had for dinner, or mention a game i've been playing, or that I got myself some opal fruits as a treat. Something vaguely positive, easily understood, basic and uncontroversial. I generally don't want to go into more detail about my life, and there's a couple of good reasons for that. The stream should be about the streamer first and foremost, and I don't want to risk bringing the mood down.
So, bear in mind that your viewers probably want to be considerate. They want your stream to be about you, they don't want to "Distract" from anything you've got planned. You could theoretically involve them by making the question part of the stream. Make it clear that you're not just being nice and actually want to know. Relate the question to something you've done, tell them something about yourself and then ask if any of them have done or experienced something similar.
That's my best guess, anyway. Communicating like a human is hard.
