anon, a few hours before the connor stream she did a collab in a game where she sang. she doesn't sing as often anymore, which is unfortunate, but she hasn't stopped. she still odes it occasionally, but is saving her voice for recordings. people have been annoyed because all of her latest streams have been collabs. I'm pretty sure that since the 9th (when she beat Soma), all of her streams have been collabs centered around events, and we haven't gotten much time to just chill and react to videos/play games. She's been trying to play more games lately, like Soma, which she beat the other week.

vshojos realized that because most of the twitch audience doesn't have any real expectations/strong ideas of what a vtuber is supposed to be, that they can just rest on their blanket of ignorance and collect money for 0 effort and be fine either way. you can be an unlikable shit even worse than a normal egirl and because people are lizardbrained idiots they can't bring themselves to be mad at a cute anime gril picture on the screen instead of some actual ugly bitch on there so forgive them for literally anything (this is overall a problem in vtubing as a whole, but vshojo has capitalized on it and abused this brain hack).

because vshojo itself is essentially a sockpuppet apparatus of twitch (gunrun is one of the fucking founders of twitch itself) they are under no pressure to perform or do anything particularly well to merit being pushed and marketed there, as being the apex of vtubing. it's set up so that vshojo "is" vtubing and everyone else are nobodies until they come orbit vshojo, kiss their ring and lick the dirt off their shoes. it'd be like if youtube had its own semi-official group and somehow magically it got shilled 100x harder than holo/niji and featured at the top of the "vtubing" section (made just for shilling that group).

Yeah Mel is the only one who does that I think, or did. I'm not sure she still does. The rest usually have a channel point redeem set up to link videos (mostly done by necessity or links would get spammed all day) but channel points aren't money, just things you collect while watching streams.
