Ive actually gotten fairly good numbers, including of the female sort, playing games more popular among females. Stuff like bejeweled, farming sims, games with a ton of dialog (that I read), city builders. Its fun and females seem to like it better. I would have a hard time doing stuff like that every day but once in a while is good fun.

Last thread, someone asked me about the problems with my model. I'm really starting to think it's something about my glasses screwing up the facial recognition. If something else is the problem, unless it's Animaze being shit or I didn't set up VRoid correctly, I don't know what it might be or how to fix it.

Before I got my iPhone to use as a camera I also had some problems with glasses messing with tracking. I found that angling the camera in certain ways helped reduce the glare from the monitor which did help a bit. I know it's pretty pricey but I would definitely recommend switching to iPhone to use their special hardware and software for tracking though. It works pretty much flawlessly with glasses.

Either that or I just am bad at reçognizing the individual titles when I looked at their data on sullygnome, I really don't have that much knowledge of the genre. I do remember putting down Danganronpa for at least one person though.

In my experience females basically won't give 1 view chuubas a chance. Even when I tried to cator to women at that point it was difficult to get any of them to stay and watch for any amount of time after following. Now as I am entering 2 view territory females seem to be much more willing to watch, and I'll be honest with you I am basically doing the same exact thing that I have always been doing. I went with the iPhone 10 XR. The regular iphone 10 supposedly overheats really easy when it is using the face tracking software. I got it for about 200$. You might be able to get it for a little bit less if you are ok with having a bit of damage to it, if it is just a glorified webcam a bit of superficial damage isn't going to matter much. Go for a iphone 11 or later. Iphone 10 series will overheat pretty badly if you're streaming more than a few hours, and the regular Iphone 10's tracking pales in comparison to later models. I got a used Iphone 12 off Amazon for ~500CAD. The tracking is spectacular, but the cost may be prohibative. You'd also need to get vbridger appropriate facial rigging done, which is usually another cost on top.

You have to just break it up into chunks. Do two weeks on, two weeks off, and don't stream it more than 3 times in a week. That way you can mix in variety while still playing the game you love. Also keep in mind it is very possible to pidgeonhole yourself into a single type of content, and your audience may not come back if you aren't doing only that (see: TF2bers). I love reading dialogue. It's so much fun getting into the various characters. Is Outer Wilds good? I've had it on my radar but it doesn't seem appealing to me. I could do an ASMR-type stream (regular mic) I always wanted to try comfy ASMR adjacent video game streams but haven't found a good game to do it with. I tend to do retro games, especially JRPGs they have a lot of unvoiced dialogue. I've even set the challenge to voice every single line in Trails in the Sky as part of my re-debut.

Oh, thanks. Yeah, that’s a known problem, but I will be in a more soundproof room later, and you are correct, it has to do with distance from the mic as well.

Outer Wilds is one of my favorite games of all time, but it's not a perfect game for every audience. It's heavy on reading since it has lots of dialogue and no voice acting. It has a lot of little one-minute stretches of down time when traveling between planets. It has a few challenges that don't hand-hold you to the solution which can be a problem if you get frustrated at a lack of progress (you can almost always just go explore something else though.) And it's prone to being spoiled. Spoilers won't totally ruin the experience but it's much better with no spoilers because it's a game about discovery and exploration.
But if you can turn the bits of downtime into mini zatsu time, or just murmur and talk through your thought process aloud to fill the dead air, it's extremely comfy.
It's not quite as heavy on dialogue as a full-sized RPG but maybe half that? It's a lot. If it's a good match for your stream it's AAA content IMO, I've watched like ten different people's full playthroughs of the base game and DLC which is usually like 15-25 hours and I can't say that for any other game.

Ill start with the promotions, since there were just two of them.

Oh, and a quick mention of the youtubers. I updated their subscriber numbers too. I kept track of how they changed along with how many ranks they gained since last time.

Not a massive amount of movement here since I put most of these in pretty recently, but I will congratulate two wactor boys. They both gained a comparitively large number of subs recently and both gained 1 place in the rankings overtaking a certain catboy shota.

List: Game of Candles.

I thought List would be a good horror game, I've had some fun with pre-release horror stuff through giveaway sites a few times, and this had an interesting premise. Except it was just pretty shit, the enemies had no audible triggers, and it hadn't gone through much in the way of playtesting, so there were some issues that both I and the only other person I've seen stream it encountered.
