I'm not a huge fan of niji en in general, other than Pomu and Elira, but I actually gave Aia a chance a few times and she is not a bad streamer at all.
She always talks about stuff, like she herself said "I'm a bit of a chatterbox", which is believe it or not, a great quality to have in this business.
Too many streamers are coasting by on dead air and dont even try.
I think people actually fucked up when they jumped to conclusions before she even debuted. About the whole "talks about spirituality, sexuality" etc. People assumed she is gonna preach some femoid shit, but I dont think Aia had that in mind.

I like Aia, she's very mindful and introspective, and almost as chatty as her dumb wavemate, Scarle. I can tell she's on the younger side, but ironically her appeal is towards an older than average nijisanji viewer. She also doesn't spam FoTM for numbers and instead streams what she wants. Unfortunately, I don't think she's a good fit for nijisanji. Though she's not a good fit for hololive either, she'll probably adjust there better than her current company.
I'd enjoy it if she does book reading streams or delve into her interests instead of trying to pander to the typical ninisanji viewer who like more "energetic" and spastic streams.

I know she's not ID, but she's a better fit in NijiID or even HoloID's more relaxed atmosphere.

The difference is that a lot of those 3 views are just "working" part-time as a VTuber. They have other main jobs or sources of income. Aia is doing this full time and going by what Mysta said, NijiEN might not even get good enough of a cut from their merch, unlike NijiJP (or he was a retard who got stepped all over by NijiEN management, idk)

Over the past 5 months, she made somewhere between 8 and 17k a month. That sounds good, but taking the cuts (YT + AnyColor) into account and that turns into 2.8 to 6k a month.
It's respectively high with her viewership, but it's not an amount one can live off comfortably in the long term unless she lives in some rural states. Fresh Graduates in decent white-collar fields (banking, IT) can make as much, if not more and they have much better job security
