There's definitely house collabs between male and female livers but most mix gendered collabs happen on 'neutral' places like the studio which makes it seem more professional. I wish yumes were more vocal about their distaste for MxF collabs but it's very easy to get called a "schizo from le hacker site 4chan" nowadays. I'll use my own example for this. There was a recent controversial stream that happened and people in the comments didn't give any feedback or talk about how close-minded it was. I posted a comment that was sure to be misinterpreted as hate, but it got tons of likes and had people agreeing. Sure there are people that are going to white knight, there always will be. But it's worth it if the creator can see that it isn't just one or two people that feel this way. When I started getting some aggressive comments, I simply turned off the notifications. I'm just an anime picture with a cringey name on youtube. I don't have links to my other socials on my channel, so it's not like those aggressive commenters can stalk and harass me. Even if they could, it would reflect more on their oshi and the fanbase than it would the person who made the initial criticizing comment. You don't even have to put up with the comments calling you names if you don't care or mute them, and I wish more people knew this.

There's also a few really helpful grammar websites out there, though the names kind of escape me

Caught up on the Halo collab with Altare and Dez, I didn't expect it to be so cute! Then again any collab Altare is in seems to be made into a cute boys collab. As someone who primarily watches Niji I agree with all of this. Niji pivoting to idols to compete with Holo is just full retard behavior because Nijisanji as a company just doesn't do what Holo does -- and I think that's good, because they've both cultivated their own culture and expectations and viewer experiences. Trying to change that now and doing it forcefully enough that some of their prominent members are willing to dip over it seems like them trying to bloat their numbers for shareholder benefit since they started trading publicly on the JP stock market. It might make them more money in the short term, but in the long run it's probably going to be bad for business -- they'll break into idols at first, but in the end they can't ever compete on Holo's home turf and trying to do so at the expense of everything else is just going to burn the candle at both ends. Shit sucks.
